Buzz off, we don't let every foal and filly wander in.
But anyway, totally forgot i was going to install the soup, been caught up in brink. I'll have to postpone it for awhile though.
STALKER magazine is launching in Russia and Worldwide.
In Russian :(
A magazine dedicated to STALKER? Sounds silly.
I just played SoC without a HUD or crosshairs or anything like that. It actually got significantly harder as I had to press I every 5 seconds to see my health from the inventory. And every time I open any kind of menu the AI rushes in like there is no tomorrow.
X-18 next :ohdear:
I'd play with no health bar, if it was fucking dynamic and appeared when you were wounded.
Page 119 is an anomaly. Don't worry i've managed to get through it, just follow me.
He must have found a compass artifact!

You'll die in the next blowout.
I've been marked by [del]Paravin[/del] The Zone so I cannot die during a blowout.

Not even [del]Paravin[/del] The Zone can save you from a blowout if you have a compass.

He was talking about the CoP thing that lets you survive blowouts

I know.
I feel like Stalker is overexposed in Russia. I mean, books, clothes, a magazine and a fucking TV show. It's great for us, but doesn't it seem a bit much to anyone? I suppose the fanbase is sufficient to support it, especially internationally.

Eh, sometimes it's a bit awkward but otherwise I think it's great that there's more to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R culture than just the games. Especially since I want to consume more of the Zone lore and stories than the games can offer. Besides, the S.T.A.L.K.E.R microculture ensures that the game series will remain alive and strong for long.
The only negative part of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R culture imo is the danger that the LARPers will shit up the real Zone and steal memorabilia from Pripyat and other locations in the Exclusion Zone. Hopefully that won't happen and the Zone will remain mostly as a natural preservation area and a place of research, untouched by the horrors of mass tourism.
Made a second playthrough of Stalker and filmed some bugs.

I want my 2 minutes and 48 seconds back
the weaponless dutyer and the 2 guys trying to sit were the only the little bit funny bits

Is that guy trying to record a dance video? Then again, there are so many dancing stalkers in the series that this wouldn't be an unusual sighting.
STALKER TV show?
Get out of here, mindfuck.

It's been announced and parts of it were shown ages ago. Hopefully it won't end up like the Spyro movie.
There was a Spyro movie?
Jesus Christ.

There was supposed to be one, but Activision cut it because it was about the LoS series and not the current turd that Activision is putting on sale this summer.
Then again, I'd rather watch a movie with an an all dragon cast in which the main character is flirting with his S&M female companion and Gary Oldman while trying to stop a big bad with the dumbest world domination plan ever while dramatic music is constantly playing in the background than a movie featuring a band of 32 retards running around a bunch of floating rocks fighting a bunch of goofy enemies while pretending to be related to something that was once good.
It's a good thing that GSC isn't controlled by idiots and moneygrabbers, that way the chances of the above happening are reduced to a minimum.
If Activision owned GSC, artifacts would cost $5 each.

And all non-story related quests would be released in a $20 DLC.

I always go "oh shit" when that happens to me.
HE'S LOOKING RIGHT AT ME OH GOD
OH GOD OH MA--- why is he not doing anything?
Neutral?
Neutral?
It happens to hostiles with binoculars, too.
Clocked him right in the binocs with a single AP bullet from atop the hill with my SKS :c00lbert:

I could explain but it would spoil the illusion of the AI ;)
Lost Alpha is having a pretty hard time keeping itself on the pedestal as the most awaited mod for me.
Especially since I haven't heard squat from them for quite a while. Not to say I've looked very hard though.
