So I'm in the process of extracting the files for People Soup + DMX... I'm scared.

Jesus christ how many files do I have to download for soup + dmx. Is there one big .rar somewhere?

Check your downloaded people soup+dmx files for the folder called "stalker_shoc". There is a saved game file that takes you to after the cave in front of Sid's bunker door. It does work, plus it starts you off with a bunch of mutant parts to sell!

I know the reason you didn't create a torrent is because you'd be the only one seeding it, but I'm surprised no one on the GSC forum made a torrent and had people from there seed it.

The best of the three for exploration would be clear sky since it includes all of shoc's levels but with a better story and the swamps. Call of pripyat is actually the worst of the series in terms of exploration because while the levels are much bigger, they're practically devoid of life unless you install a mod like SGM, which you shouldn't on your first playthrough

XR_3DA.exe has stopped working. That is the error I get upon trying to launch the game after installing People Soup and DMX... Does anyone know what could be wrong?

I got stuck in a little area, anyway to noclip out or something? Can't jump out or crouch jump out...

... There's nothing to paste, it's Windows giving me the error, and that's all it says. It doesn't give me an error log or anything, just that something stopped working.

Well, it could be anything if there's no error. Did you apply the patches?

Yes I've applied all the patches that came with the link provided in the OP unless there are more that aren't there. I've got the Cumulative Patch and Fixing Soup.

At least, I'm pretty certain it doesn't.

Could also be a corrupt archive, did you get any errors while extracting? Also try extracting again. [editline]5th April 2011[/editline] Oh that's correct, bugtrap is only active while the actual game has started.

We are also assuming you patched STALKER to 1.0004 or 1.0005 before installing, and you also included the bin/ folder that comes extracted from the mod?

If I recall, I got some form of error while extracting, I don't remember what it was, but it could very well be the cause. I will try again in the morning.

Going from mod gameplay back to Vanilla feels like you are going to play an entirely different game. Also I tried Spartan 11:11 for CS a long time ago. I must say, if you have CS and you don't play it that much, get that mod. It makes it so much better in my opinion.
