:q: I'm going to document my expierences of People Soup DMK after I install it.
I mean, it's the same parts I downloaded, extracted and played myself.

Automerge seems to have stopped working. Strange.
Not adblock, dammit. My Firefox must have contracted an anomaly somehow which I cannot fix.
How do I fix these horrendous loading times in People soup?
How do I fix these horrendous loading times in People soup?
Uninstalling it.
There is no way to reduce the loading times short of setting everything on absolute minimum and setting the resolution to 640x480.
Huh? I thought lots of people had downloaded the soup from there?
Oh, I tought you replied to my post. Then yes, your site does serve it's purpose well for all mods you host.
Why does Sony Vegas spit out every video with brightness and contrast tweaked to shit? Videos look great in SV, but when I render them as mp4's they become dark as hell.
Any ideas?

Wrong thread?
Oh and try a different codec. H264 works well.

Hahah, my post sounds really stupid in that context.
I'd actually disagree whether it serves any purpose. I pretty much never use armor as I simply don't see a reason for it. Getting shot is happens perhaps trice per map I go through, carry an extra medkit is pretty much all I've ever needed to do.

I was wondering if it was unrelated or sarcasm. :v:
And yea, armor tends to be useless unless there's a lot of hazardous hotspots or an RPG around the corner.
Because my computer kicks ass we're going to be maxing out People Soup
:smug:
Yeah, and when there are lots of those, just rebind quicksave/load to M1 and M2.

I don't know about people-soup, but in mods like OL or LURK, Armor can save your life if a stray shot hits you
I always feel like armour and outfits are a bit of a waste in Stalker, so they'll have additional uses in WotW :3:
"Its basically AMK with a new story, invisible people, tripping balls in a cave, and laser guns"
Invisible people? Jesus christ
[editline]5th April 2011[/editline]
And thanks for the links :unsmith:
All these guns:

My current playthrough is about... 26 hours? I haven't even turned off the brain scorcher yet, I just went to the Army Warehouses for the first time. It didn't even take me this long to beat SoC the first time I played it.
I can max the soup with above 40 fps. It halves when I livestream.
it better not suffer Arsenal syndrome.
Aka, reused animations and sounds everywhere

It's not very hard to max out People Soup. It's hard to load the levels in a reasonable amount of time, however.

This mod is for SHOC, just to clarify, right?
and I am sure 8GB of DDR3 can handle it
It's probably more the other way around.
Hell, I bet half of those 12 gigs are just there to scare us and actually never used. :v:
[editline]5th April 2011[/editline]
It's for SoC alright.
:q: Gonna be doing a screenshot by screenshot lets play of this fucker
[editline]5th April 2011[/editline]
10 mins to extract all of the mod to a folder
:frog:
Why don't you just livestream if you'll be holding down the prt scr button?

Could be all the maps and the textures, they're really huge. The mod itself is probably like 5 or 6 gigabytes if you take out all the extra maps and quests related to them.
Yes, I have a hard time seeing how there could be twelve gigs of scripts.
The texture folder alone for People Soup takes up 7.10 gigs.
Why don't you just livestream if you'll be holding down the prt scr button?
I might. I just prefer screenshot + Text cause it allows me to get creative.
But yeah, after I get used to it and get it running, I'll set us up a live-stream.
Quick question. Do I install the patch, than fixing soup, or fixing soup than the patch?
I mean they could've rewritten the goddamn adobe suite with that.

:frog:
the weapons in this seriously better not be like arsenal mod with lots of reused sounds and animations
