If you're going for SGM, disable "eclipse" in its menu, it makes the game crash whenever the weather is initialized.
If we already have SGM installed, and have a save on it, if we install Blackbyte SGM, do we have to restart our save?

Great, my redux saves are now unplayable because I get a crash in the Pripyat tunnels that's most likely not due to redux, but totally unsolvable. Great, just fucking great. :colbert: [editline]2nd April 2011[/editline] I even managed to get past it once, but then Zulu died.

Only this once, but then I had to go back due to Zulu dying. And my old solution of playing it like CoD(rookie, run and gun) doesn't work this time around. [editline]3rd April 2011[/editline] Seeing how it worked when Zulu died, I blame Zulu, the smug fuck.

It has been a while since I posted here, I feel like an outsider now. I hope Blackbyte doesn't remove the post-game "Psi-Emission" mission, that's the best part of SGM. Zombies everywhere.

Try r2_ls_bloom_fast off? There's no r2_fast_bloom in the user.ltx, but there's that.

How much of a discount is the loyalty promo you get for owning another S.T.A.L.K.E.R before buying CoP?
I like how my current playthrough of SoC is 21 hours yet I haven't even gone to Strelok's stash for the second time yet. :v: The soup man, it's so awesome. (And maybe an hour of that is just loading)

Every mod I've tried for Call of Pripyat seems to think that "improving" the game means "making it impossibly difficult." I just tried Redux, and while the graphical changes and new blowout effects are beautiful, the game is simply too hard to play anymore. There's nothing you can do to survive. There simply is not enough cover to protect you from blowouts (short of massive buildings and structures, which are in pretty short supply in the zone), enemies kill you in one hit (two if you're lucky) and traders won't buy any of the equipment you bring them. Maybe that's fun for some people, but I don't want a game that's so stupidly difficult that it stops being entertaining. Isn't there a "Redux Lite" or something that keeps all the graphical improvements, new weapons, and great effects, but doesn't change the actual core gameplay experience? I thought Call of Pripyat's core game was perfect, so I guess what I'm looking for is just a very good graphical mod, and maybe something that adds more weapons/enemies.
