Drop the Gauss, put some extra accuracy upgrades on your Assault weapon and bring a fuckload more ammo. Additionally get rid of the Striker, South African piece of shit. Get either Carabiner from Nimble, or Predator from Trapper, glorious weapon that Carabiner.

Your weapons suck.
I've got 200+ rounds for my Gauss that 1-hits almost everything.
Know what else one shots almost anything? Headshots. For mutants and the like, use a fucking shotgun.
When you can upgrade Assault Rifles to be as accurate as a Sniper Rifle, why use one? As long as you can actually shoot straight, that 5.56 is going to put a hole in his head just as easy as a 7.62x54mmR.

Dude, I upgrade everything. It's not like I'm just using these weapons. I never said I only use these, just mainly.
And this selection fits my playstyle better than yours obviously.

Know what isn't as cool as a gauss rifle?
Assault rifles.
And what might my playstyle be? A good assault rifle can take down anything from medium to long range with no trouble, leaving a high DPS shotgun for close encounters. I snipe things plenty, I can just use my assault rifle for it just as well as a sniper rifle.

I don't know what your playstyle is, that's why I'm fucking saying you use different weapons.
But I can tell you right now that my playstyle is running up to things and blasting them point blank with a Gauss blast before they can even hear me.
Uh, what?
Ok, my playstyle is to sit back and shoot them from long distance. A bullet to the head does just the same at long range as it does close up. But really, you run up to them with the Gauss Rifle? Using such a powerful and accurate gun at point blank range? Goddamn.

I wasn't serious.
Honestly, though, I don't understand why you have a beef with what weapons I use.
I tend to use Assault rifles the most. More flexible. If I need to, I can use them at any range. They may not be as good at long and close range as the specialist weapons, but they get the job done without me having to carry extra weight or sacrifice long range capability for the sake of close range (and vice versa).
I can see why Battle rifles were phased out in favor of intermediate caliber automatic rifles. Flexibility is a good thing to have.
I haven't played any of the STALKERs for about 7 months now. I need to start up again.

Play SoC Vanilla using only a knife.
And no suit.
And no suit.
Just mountains of Vodka. And you have to drink a bottle every time you kill someone/see someone die.
The gasmask script is pretty much functional. I've even got it where the space between your exhalations/inhalations depend on stamina.
Wow, vanilla SoC on master is... odd after playing so many mods.
I did the car park with a knife, only took about 10% damage. It also takes ~10 9x18 shots to the head to kill a military NPC.
Hey guys, sorry for the completely random request, but can someone post the video of the two guys getting attacked by psuedo-dogs, and they simply stand there and stare at you, and the end has a close-up with a distorted "Get out of here stalker"?
I need to save the video to show a friend. :v:

Thank you. I could not for the life of me think of what to search on YouTube. I remembered it wasn't so simply titled as "stalker attacked by dogs." :v:
Wow, you sprint so slowly in FreeLURK.
But I started as a minimum loadout merc and now I'm going to go kill Kruglov.
GETTTTT OUTTTT of HEERRRREEEE STALKKKKKKERRRR
Should I make it where entire levels (the underground stuff) requires a gasmask, or just certain places. Or both.
Agree for entire level.
Informative for certain places.
Artistic for both.

No casual shit please.

Make Yantar require gasmasks, too. I mean just look at the place - how can it not be toxic?
I'm usually late to these arguments but, in CoP I just get the Fraiser and the Tide from nimble. Set for game.
I heard about a backdoor way.
If you know what i mean
No worries, real men often take the back door.
In CoP I just get a Saiga-12. Solves all of my problems, all twelve of them in three seconds.
I don't like the G36 in CoP, but I did in SoC.
I feel the same way. I think it's the animations and the way it's held. Something just turns me off of it in CoP. I usually use Strelok's SIG or an AS Val.

STALKER snipers are generally pretty shit, they have no proper "feel" except the VSS and that isn't exactly a traditional sniper rifle
Gimme Red Orchestra sniper mechanics and we'll talk
