I've been playing TL1 on Very Hard as the Alchemist. I am maxing the big slow electric punch attack, the shield and then critical hit chance/damage at 3rd priority. I have a wussy little frost spell (scroll type) that slows enemies, which usually means their attack animation is slowed enough so that I can do the huge punch and decimate them before I get hit once. It's incredible, bosses don't stand a chance!

It doesn't make much difference to us poor folks. I'd love to play Borderlands 2, but the only way I'd ever pre-order it is if I happen to find someone who wants to buy it for me in exchange for TF2 items.

We are just a few days away from Torchlight 2, So excited. Mostly because it releases when my school holiday begins. Heck yeah!

Well Borderlands 2 comes out two days earlier in the US.
Too bad I got a job like a week before these games come out. Now I'll barely be able to play either of them until the weekend. But thankfully I have like 4 friends who are also getting TL2, and we'll be able to form a huge party friday night.
Don't forget that you can also pre-order it on Gamersgate and if you have that IGN discount from a while back, it knocks like $3 off.
Personally I'm picking up TL2 before Borderlands 2 just because I was lucky enough to have a friend gift me a copy and I've been waiting since the beginning of Summer, can't wait to play it. Of course, Borderlands 2 will definitely get my attention when I can afford to buy it.

Hopefully it'll get putted in the OP.
I hope they put a bit more customization for characters into the full game, not that it matters much, but the beta was a little simple, maybe had 2 different options on each character. Phat l00t still makes you look awesome though, so it's not a huge biggie.
Yeah, the loot more than makes up for the lack of customization for something you'll hardly ever see.
