Just played for about an hour, really enjoying it so far. Not having the whole game take place in the same dungeon really adds to it I think.
Shotgun berserker is really fun, running around blowing up crowds of enemies with a single shot is so satisfying.
Also can pets use potions? Mine had a bunch in his backpack when I started and I wasn't sure if I should steal his potions.

They can't use them, but you can use the potions on your pets.
Your pet probably had potions because you shift+click them when some dropped. You can take them from it.

The difference is that you can still play Torchlight 2 when the servers are down.

Different players get different loots that only they can see.

How do I give my pet potions? In torchlight 1, shift-right-clicking from anywhere would give it to your pet. Why can't I do the same in tl2?

I have both and I have a preference for the ambiance / atmosphere of Torchlight 2. I love the cartoonish style.

The GPU is really the only new thing in this piece of shit.
I figured it out a while back. Fullscreen windowed mode makes the game cry a lot.
Can't decide which class to take. Think I'll settle for engineer because his skills seem more support-oriented which I'm a big fan of.

you have to click on the pet's icon in the top left or on it's health/mana bar, if you highlight it'll give you shortcuts also iirc
