you have to click on the pet's icon in the top left or on it's health/mana bar, if you highlight it'll give you shortcuts also iirc
Thanks, the new hotkey seems to be Shift+Z. That actually works out better than shift+rightclick on a potion.
So apparently we're required to link our Runic Games and Steam accounts? That's cool and all but I get a 404 when I try to.
Seems like the Runic site is back online, but it's very slow.
Awesome so far, but it seems like it has the same problem as Torchlight 1... which is to say it's stupidly easy. I probably shouldn't have started on Normal.
Can't use the site still unfortunately.
Can't afford it, guess I have to play though the first for the umpteenth time. The beta was amazing though I can't wait till I can get it.
Might get this tonight after playing the demo for the first.
So what should I do with my speccing on engineer? I'm afraid to drop more points than 3 because you can't reset after that point..
cant link my account?
I just got TL2. Anyone wanna play later?
I made a group for co-op arranging and stuff:

Join or die alone.
We already got one.
My only defense is that mine is more general, that way any old riff raff is allowed in. I go for quantity over quality.

Max out healbot
I'm not trying to say "get out, rawr ur shit is shit" or anything, if I'm coming across like that. I'm not really screening people to see if they're from Facepunch or anything. It's a public group. It's just that generally there's an official group for the general population and facepunch will make a group for every game to make it easier to organize.

I hope they get their servers on soon, i'm getting like a rash waiting to play with my friends.
I mean.
Its right there.
But I can't.
Tunngle + LAN in the meantime. Works fine.

Yeah I know, I'm just sayin'.

Normal is stupid easy, I made a Berserker as my second character and picked it on accident and it's just ridiculous, I think I'm just going to delete it. I started my Outlander as my first character on Veteran and it has been especially challenging so far, at least for me, especially now that I'm on the 4th or 5th boss encounter.
I saw that the account creation page was up, tried tor etrieve my password, nothing
Tried to make a new account and it says that my email and name are not valid, damn
Can't fucking connect my Steam account so I can't login.
Still. Fuck.
Oh wow I got onto https://secure.runicgames.com and attempting to get to the dashboard to connect my account. Its loading so slowly hnnnnnng
Just hit Act II. Shit got real hard real fast.
The website seems to be working, I actually managed to make an account. It won't let me link it to my Steam account so that I can actually play Torchlight II Online. It 404's.
This is why smart people linked it all before release. :v:
After a long time of pain, I finally got Torchlight from the news Humble Bundle, thanks to a friend. Now I can feel the joy of playing a good Diablo game again. God, it's so awesome.

I assumed I didn't need two accounts to play the game.
Anyone know if there is a way to "hide" your helmet on your character but still have it equipped?
I would much rather see hair than a lame leather helmet.
Also, Chirno, do you have an auto dumbing script or something?

In your inventory next to the helmet slot there's a little check box, that will toggle the helmet on and off.
