You shouldn't have to. Outlander is now my favorite class. Glaive throw 4 lyfe.
I love the Outlander but I don't really even use the glaive that much, never was a huge fan.
Glaive throw is fucking awesome
Anyone know what was in the update?
Anyone know what was in the update?
I'd say bugfixes, it wasn't that big of an update
Found the notes.
STABILITY *Fixed a potential crash bug when applying affixes and effects in certain circumstances *Fixed rare crash when turning in quest in the Undercurrents. *Put in protection against character save file corruption. Corrupted characters will not appear in the list of characters. (And thus can't cause the game to crash on load) SKILLS *Fix for Berserker geyser proc showing up as a mappable skill. *Fix for triggering Shocking Burst and Arc Beam out of range while hitting shift that could cause chain casting. *'Resist Slow' affix fixed. *Proc affixes scale better with player level. *Berserker 'Wolf Shade' now has the (intended) 60 second cooldown applied to all ranks. *Fix for mistriggering when chaining two skills together when there is an early hit-frame. *Safety check to stop any looping skills that get stuck in the 'on' state when the character is not performing a skill. *Fixed bug with 'Poison Burst' procs (they should properly engage at more distant ranges). *Fix for potential issue when units would queue removed/unavailable skills. *Fix for having more than 100% reduction to charge decay or a negative flat charge decay. PERFORMANCE *Made significant optimizations to particle collisions. SYSTEMS *Fix a bug when recalculating the price on objects to make sure the calculation is based on the correct data. *Fix for bug where rapid clicks could misspend stat points. *Removed access to console commands in multiplayer games. *The game's login dialog now correctly allows passwords up to 64 characters long. *Removed display of other users' IP addresses in multiplayer games. *Removed Steam Cloud toggle in the settings file (it didn't do anything); the ability to toggle is available in the Steam client. *Removed logging for achievements to potentially reduce some FPS drops for some users. LEVELS/SCRIPTING *Tweaks to various areas to prevent units from getting stuck. *Changed lootable rocks to be non-colliding as they could occasionally block very narrow corridors. *Fixes to some level scripting logic in the Frosted Hills. *Fixed a bug that could cause multiple Tower of the Moon entrances to appear in the world. *Implemented a few specific boss room pathing fixes. ACHIEVEMENTS *Fixed friends list based achievements. *Spell-learning achievements now don't incorrectly trigger based on other players. MINOR *Fixed several typos. *Improvements to journal tooltips.
I just bought this from g2play. Wonder when im going to get they key though
Oh lord, I made a Berskerker and I already love them more than my main(engie) in the first few minutes.
*Fix for bug where rapid clicks could misspend stat points.
Well, it's a good thing I already made my minimum stat challenge character before that.
Am I the only one getting a 329 MB update every thirty minutes or so? It's the demo by the way.
*Berserker 'Wolf Shade' now has the (intended) 60 second cooldown applied to all ranks.
Oh no. How will I survive now? That thing is the sole thing keeping me alive :v
Beserker is easy to stay alive, I think his sustain is pretty OP to be honest.
So wait, the berserker's wolf dash thing that restores %HP just got a minute cooldown? Well looks like I'll be taking over the tanking for me and my buddy, but it's cool cause I'm a never die engineer.
My stash items got eaten by the new update. :( [editline]23rd September 2012[/editline]
Beserker is easy to stay alive, I think his sustain is pretty OP to be honest.
I can't beat Mordrox. :( I die too quickly and I can't keep myself alive, what do I do?

If it is that one then what I done was i just whipped out my cannon and shotgun cause I'm an engineer, slapped on a 5 charge forcefield with my heal bot and laughed all the way through the boss fight.
I can't beat Mordrox. :( I die too quickly and I can't keep myself alive, what do I do?
Make sure you have crit heal thing, have the first ability slash levelled up, and the wolf jump which heals you. I just punch people for a while, if i start to die I pop a pot or use the wolf dash and I can keep spamming it because of the low mana cost, if you get alot of people in the same area, keep using the claw swipe. Whenever you have the frenzy mode or whatever it is, start hitting on the boss. If there are still minions left, build up your fury on them. Also you should really be using fist weapons as they fucking own. I can shred any boss I meet on Veteran when I get Rampage and Frenzy. Basically you just heal yourself to shit with 100% crit chance, pop pots when needed, use wolf dash to get away or heal. [editline]23rd September 2012[/editline] Also shred armor is probably the best passive in the game, I have around 70 armor normally. When I start beating on the same target constantly, I get around 400 armor and reduce their armor by the same.

Howl is pretty useful too.
You need the crit heal Shred armor is insanely useful for tanking Red Wolf is good but not needed Rampage level 1 is only needed and Executioner is good I need to buy some levels into increasing the Frenzy time [editline]23rd September 2012[/editline] Also Wolf Strike is useless compared to Shadow Burst. Shadow burst heals you for alot and has a chance to break shields.
My stash items got eaten by the new update. :(
And I lost like 2 hours of progress :( But no biggie because this game is so fun
If you enable the console and type "respecpotion", it spawns a respec potion that resets all your skill points. If they had it in game, why the hell wasn't it included? Anyways should I be focusing on just one skill tree? I'm madly in love with the glaive throw for my Outlander, but the other skills in that tree aren't as exciting.
imo get all your passives as an outlander(dont get shotgonne mastery/akimbo if you dont use them), then the active spells are up for grabs.
Yeah I've just been putting all my points into the skills that are in the Glaive tree (whatever it's called) but the only active skill I ever really use is the Glaive Throw. I'll just spawn another respec potion and try out something different. Though not all of the Outlander passives seem all that great... are they that important?

any tips for outlander? [editline]23rd September 2012[/editline]
imo get all your passives as an outlander(dont get shotgonne mastery/akimbo if you dont use them), then the active spells are up for grabs.
Ah, now that I see this this is pretty much what I'm doing: Maxing out glaive throw and tangle shot, and putting points into passives.
I had to laugh a bit when my friend, an Embermage, was always saying how amazing he was with wands and never had to use any skills. He joins me and gets demolished by groups of Flaming Skeletons and other baddies of the crypts while I charge through them, constantly healing myself. He got a tad pissed at me and complained he didn't have a 'fancy dodge' to keep him alive. I can't help being tanky v:v:v
Anyone find that slime challenge in the first overworld area of Act II? You have to fight three boss slimes at once, and they constantly spawn large slimes, regular slimes, and small slimes to the point where you're fighting literally 40 or so enemies at once. It was actually really difficult, if only because the game's "autoaim" seemed dead set on having me target everything BUT the boss slimes.

Dropped the ability that spreads 15% damage over all targets affected, howl, then a combo of shadow rush and savage run or whatever eats the small and medium ones up. For some reason I feel gimped using fist weapons. Always think I can do more damage using axes or whatever, but I dont like ditching the speed on the claws

Is it in a dungeon or on the overworld?
