I'm on my first playthrough right now on Normal at about the beginning of Act 3, 17 hours in, I think it'll take me at least 25-30 hours altogether to finish up the rest of the game.
So what do you do when you've finished the game? Re-do content, for what purpose?

Monsters are tougher, use more abilities, better rewards.
Also levels are random generated so it does not kill the fun so much, it's better than what you have to do in D3 for that example.

Ah, I'm still enjoying the game really much.
I also ran the game back to check the stats in game, it's actually 13 hours and I finished it at level 52.

Yeah you rushed it, when I played I literally went to each single corner of each level to look for loot and more mobs, before I re-rolled I was rushing it then ended up in act 3 getting one hit with boss AOE and no gear to look around, so re-rolled and decided on what skills to use and sticked with that.

I'm doing this to, trying to explore everything before boss/final destination.
I destroy anything by popping 1 of each potion in battle and spamming that ability you start with as an Outlander, also got a ton of the shadow ability passives.

After briefly looking back on the first Torchlight, it was good for what it was.
Torchlight II is by far the better game though, as they pretty much improved EVERYTHING.

I really want to not have to spam shadow rush with my bers, but everything in NG+ takes a huge chunk of my health, or one-shots me if its magic. I rarely have time to go knuchles to face against any mob short of an elite or solo boss.
For anyone who plays something other than shadow/uses shadow burst, how well does it work/what weps do you use? thinking on making another bers as 2h winter
Its crazy how imbalanced the enemies are. There are normal monsters on my level that can almost one hit me
and then there are dungeon bosses that hardly do more damage than a tenth of my healthpool.
Embermage is still the shit though
If anyone didn't know this, type /emote in a co-op game and type one of the listed commands, it'll do some cool animations.
I enjoy /salute-ing at my friend's corpses when they get killed.

They've been flagged for using the console I think. Most likely they wanted to respec and had to console, I wouldn't worry too much about it atm
Do passive tomes stack? for example I have two dual wield tomes, each one gives 6% bonus damage when dual wielding, do I get a 12% bonus or just the benefits from the first tome?
Also I'm focusing on strenght and dextery as outlander, how fucked I am?

Goddamn, I'm not going to finish Torchlight at this point, I start very well, but soon or later I do something wrong and the rest is a bit complicated to finish. I guess I will play it on Medium, then play it serious in a high difficulty.
So I got the wolf ability and beat Mordrox easily, I didn't really wanna dip into more than one skill branch but oh well.

I'm at like 11 hours and I haven't finished act 1. Hardcore advanced and i can't seem to go back to non hardcore.
