Just finished act 2 after 15 hours.
Constant enchanting, combining and exploring every bit of the map takes time, I guess.
What happens if the character gets flagged?
Personalized loot is becoming more common and dat's good.
I cant imagine how fast I'd die in a multiplayer game though. 4 people kiting doesn't sound that interesting.
Truth be told I don't like personalized loot simply because it feels very video-gamey and takes out an interesting (if often annoying) element to co-op in these kinds of games.
I think Path of Exile does it great - if you kill the monster or loot the chest, you have a small timer in which you get "dibs" on the loot first. Whatever you don't take within that time is open to everyone.
It's not perfect - because there is still compeition and sometimes people can kill-steal and get dibs, but its a step in the right direction without outright making it so player-centric loot is the only thing that goes down. I'm sure there are ways in which people can take path of exile's approach and build on it to make it even better - so loot taken feels fair rather than annoying.
How could personalized loot have any downside at all?

I see your point, and PoE's system is fine imo.
However, personalized loot makes it so no-one gets screwed because of their specs, latency or inability to click click click on dropping loot. Saves a lot of frustration.
In the end; everyone gets items, everyone's happy. More stuff to trade too.
pretty sweet game overall, feel way more satisfied spending money on this instead of Diablo 3.
Currently rolling dps/tank engie, gonna play as ember or zerk next play trough.
I went trough vyrax tower on veteran and all I got was some shitty ember mage pants.
I'm lvl 15+ in D3, haven't played it since release. What a fucking waste.
[t]http://puu.sh/18aX0[/t]
what a load of fucking shit this isn't even a challenge it's unbeatable
yeah it fucking sucks
basically you have to pray that the auto-aim allows you to attack the boss blobs and focus on them above all else. also have lots of aoe attacks or something.

Difficulty doesn't affect drops afaik.

People have been doing that for years.
If you aren't smart enough to realize it says "Never tell your password to anyone" you deserve to have your account stolen.

Or if you use the same password for the email account steam guard is tied to.

Yeah I know they've been doing it for forever, but that doesn't mean I can't try and help them out.
Does anyone know where to find that Minecraft Easter egg in the [sp]Sundered Battlefield[/sp]?
I've looked forever for it in the area it's apparently in and couldn't find it.
Fuck dividing enemies. Work your ass off and just barely survive the dude and then he splits into two equally powerful guys that instantly attack you when they split.

That's honestly how I greet people 90% of the time.
Ask, um, anyone.

Seems like I rushed it after all or I'm just a speed demon or something, 13 hours for me.
10 hrs here and I'm not even done with act 1.

oh shit
Jesus, I need that crossbow.
What weapons do I want on a Berserker? My embermage feels much more powerful than my Berserker. I can sustain myself to no end on my Berserker but I just can't kill shit fast enough.

Fist weapons dont do splash, but ignore 50% of target armor. I'd recommend these due to their high speeds so that you hit more. They dont skimp on dps either, my current claw wep does 712, albeit its fully enchanted and gemmed
If shred armor is enough but you want splash, I'd suggest axes. a tad slower than claws but with the benefit of splash damage it sort of makes up for it.
A two-handed weapon could work on a bers, but I would think you would want to go winter to get its full potential out of it.
my berserker is such a tank
I'm just minmaxing ice damage on my berserker to see how effective that ends up.

Groovy.
How the fuck do I even solo Grell as an Outlander? I've died like, 7 times now, and he's down to a quarter of his health.
