I never had much trouble with him on veteran, just ran around and shot him basically. What are your skills, stats, and weapons like?
God DAMN, lovin the Berserker.
they're pretty sub-par. I'll give a definite answer when I get back on in a bit.

Two images to basically give you the general idea.

Sorry for the immense size, by the way.
Pretty disappointing ending imo. Alchemist (like all bosses) was way too easy, while those turrets in
the last dungeon had me on my knees begging for mercy like a little bitch.
[sp]final boss looked cool but was nothing challenging. And that map-finder thingie is pretty cool[/sp]
Also: Is PVP really that messed up? One runthrough and I can basicly one-hit my friend's berserker [Im Embermage] and he can 3-hit me.
These turrets were so annoying, every other mob would not hurt me so much as them, they would shred through me as if my armour, vitality points, skills and resistances didn't matter, I usually had to kill them first.
Beat this last night. I still have so much more playtime left in the game.
First, I have to actually finish TL1. Almost to the final boss, woop

The game's not really designed for PvP, I think that command's in basically for shits and giggles.
does the late game armor look good? Im not really liking the early-ish game armor. (level 25 now)
Uniques do. So many are class-specific so I cant tell if they look good or not :v
I think I got the same helm as in this picture.
I'll check later on if it's the same.

I'm level 12, almost level 13.[/QUOTE]
Shackleshot and Blade Pact are a greatcombo and maxing both are well worth it.
Does anyone know where to buy Torchlight (1) for cheap? For me it costs €15,-

That would be cool, But I don't have anything giftable left in my steam.
Funny, TL2 runs better on my laptop than Firefox.
I'm only in the first town of Torchlight 2 right now - will there be any gem transmuting later on? I have a shitload of speck embers, dunno if I should wait to transmute them or just socket them on something now.

You can turn elemental embers into the fancier ones that give physical damage, attack speed, double strike chance and all that, but you can't combine them into higher grades any more. Which sucks, I hoarded embers for that in TL1.

I thought it was dumb at first but their reasoning was so true for me, I'd just hoard gems until I got perfect gems and then I'd never use them because I didn't want to slap it in an item only to find a better item/gem for the item like 30 minutes later.
Them encouraging you just using gems at a whim really is welcome in my books.
Someone convince me to get this, I liked Diablo 3, got boring as hell though sooner than I had hoped.
Just need that extra push.
What does TL2 offer over it?
Could someone explain what this console and flagging business is about?

Not as boring, for one?
Lighter than Firefox while looking good as well.

Ehm, this is such a weird thing to say, you can't say it works better than FireFox because there can be unlimited reasons for why FireFox is acting up for you.
How can a game work better than a simple browser anyway.

You can build your dude any way you want (shotgun wielding berserker, giant two-handed cannon wielding mage, tanky engineer who punches stuff to death with brass knuckles, etc)
Basically more freedom, plus you can play singleplayer offline /deadhorse.
I particularly like the pets this game has, included from the start to fight for you and go sell items while you fight. No idea what other games offer this, since this is the first I've played of the genre.

It's quite literally Diablo 2 in 3D.
Except the story is ...I don't even know what the story is and quite frankly, I don't care.
It's just ridiculously fun, ultra handy pets that are literal jacks of all trades, highly customizable stats, and so so much loot.
Also, Matt Uelmen did the amazing soundtrack.
I got a bunch of items I want to sell, all unique and class specific.
Level 31 Very Fast sword, can be augmented
