Would modding be able to create new content like missions, maps and so on?

Shattering glaive is hilariously overpowered once you get a few skill points in it. Just stand back and spam it a few times, run around for a few seconds to recharge mana, rinse and repeat.

D2 had a nice story. Funny enough Torchlight 1 and Torchlight two perfectly mirror D1 and D2 (In D1 there was one town and a cave that went down all the way to the end boss, in T1 there was a town and a cave that went all the way to the end boss, at the end of D1 the hero turns into the next bad guy, in T1 the alchemist turns into the next bad guy, there's so many similarities it's crazy) I kind of would have liked if they put more effort into T2's story though. I really liked the monologues from the professor guy in T1, and we don't even get to talk to the fucking alchemist, and the last, last end boss just kind of comes out of nowhere and has no backstory. Lame.

I love stupid flashy useless bullshit, I kind of want a second set of equipment slots that're just for using armour for appearance like Terraria has.

Lots of games have that. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to mod in, either.

How does one create sockets for weapons and stuff?

You have to find an enchanter that puts sockets on things. Afaik, they're only in dungeons and never come back if you leave after enchanting something.

or higher* I've also found out if you put 3 gems in instead, it adds 2 sockets, or I'm mistaken. Since whenever i only put 2 in, it adds 1 socket.

Engineer is just freaking ridiculous. I'm playing on elite with my friend and I just smash everything with crazy amounts of AOE stuff.
