What the fuck, why is my fucking experience negative?

My endless mana! Nooooooo!
Ugh. I can't figure out these tree skill things. I always lose track or make something that sucks so bad. I've never once made a decent build in any game that uses them.
Don't stick to one tree, it's a sure way to make a crap character.
I did make that mistake at first, then did the respec. My second build so far is doing....okay, but by no means great. I guess playing around and tinkering with whatever skills are there is a good way to find a build that works for your personal play style. I just haven't found mine yet.

Yeah but now I don't really have a way of killing things anymore
Except for that ~1500 DMG shotgun that is
Man, I'll miss those 3k DMG glaive crits on multiple enemies at once
flame pillar rape still exists
Does this mean a neighboring enemy gets hit for the specified (27-54)or the specified + your regular attack damage?

Alright, I'm currently using Berserker, level 16, and I've been focusing on Strength and Dexterity.
am I doing it right?

Try to add to vitality every 2 levels and you should be good. Make sure to prioritize dexterity for more critical chances, you can also add some to focus.

Gear is also obviously useful for Str/Dex/Vit bonuses. As well as health on hit/kill gems.

oh dear god random item shopkeeper
I got lucky.
Sucks I can't equip either ring, I needed a new one.
Also, before you laugh at the skull ring I have, it kicks ass. I got it at the start of the game, and was planning to sell it. Then I noticed the skull was actually getting stronger. Now it does like 600+ damage at the least.

goddamnit
Are there any good mana items? I've not seen a single item go above, like, +13 mana in my own game. And yet there's plenty of items that give craploads of health (a friend supposedly has a +300 health item by act 2).
[editline]6th October 2012[/editline]
Or mana regen, for that matter. Highest I've seen is a +1.7,most are .3, and then the +1/monster within 3m.
I haven't been keeping up with Torchlight II all too much.
As a person that hold Diablo 2 as my favorite game of all time, is this worth it?
I feel like the grand regent is a bit too easy
I have no idea why, but it seemed like no one was really doing much damage
i really love the setting for the imperial camp in the third act
such an awesome atmosphere

I think I had a mana regen which was +3/monster within 6m, no idea what happened to it though

You should, I'm not going to say it's better, but it's fairly cheap, and has nearly the same feel to the gameplay.
Would anyone like to play with me? I'm currently a level 13 Embermage, and would like to continue in the game with some other people.

I've had a skill with +38 Mana.
Also, I believe I just dumped some neck with +20ish mana and +1.6 Mana Regen.
So nothing like what they've got for health. No hundreds of mana, 7 regen out of an ember SPECK, etc.,.

No. Considering spells won't really cost huge amounts of mana any time in the game it's rather nicely balanced. If my Embermage would have 800 mana instead of 390 I would be able to spam anything for as long as I would please.
I dunno, I always feel like I'm running out half way through a fight and spend the next half waiting to recharge. And then I only ever get full charge at the end of a fight. And on top of that mana potions kind of suck, with being 70 mana over 8 seconds.
To be fair embermages can pump out some horrendous damage and if you gave them an item with massive amounts of mana or mana regen then there would be nothing to stop them from smashing out ridiculous damage.
I'm sorta glad they nerfed the Charge-gain from Prismatic Bolts. I could just spam it and fill up my Charge bar in 2 seconds. I'd lose about half my mana doing that and by the time the 12 seconds of carefree spamming abilities has ended my mana has filled up again. Rinse and repeat.
