I'm tempted to get Chivalry. Do a lot of people play it? I don't want to get it and then find out there's hardly any players.
The great thing about the cards is that some people actually care about them, and they are adding more and more games to the list of games that have card drops.
I've been able to buy FTL, 400 Days, Global Offensive, Chivalry, To the Moon and a few other games just by selling the cards I've had drop and a foil one that I managed to get as well. Then those games drop cards too which in turn means even more games.
I haven't even had to touch much of my Steam sale funds much yet.
Holy shit. I've only spent 39p so far.

I'm just building my Steam game collection so I didn't even have that option going in.

Yes the multiplayer is very full of people. There a ton of servers to play and it is such a great game to play.
I'd only recommend it for a low price like this, needless to say the "funny gimmick!!" can get very annoying over some stupid shit like going opening a fridge rocket science.
I'm having fun with it, it is challenging and funny. I've paid a lot more for a lot less.
But I understand that it is not a game that is for everyone, and can be extremely gimmicky.
I may just get Payday:The Heist now, I've been wanting to play it for so long. Also I bought X-COM as a gift, could be useful.
Anyone think it's likely that Far Cry 3 will go on sale for 50% or more?

I hope so!
Trying to buy something off of amazon.com outside of the US, with a US address - and it's just stuck on
"Your order is being processed. Please do not leave this page.
This will usually take less than a minute."
Should I just let it go? Are they overloaded or what?
No Payday for me, apparently no one plays it.
Raise your hand if the money you're spending on games is the same money that buys your groceries

god help us all
Oh well, it took me to a page and wanted to verify my card, then the order completed.
GTAIV or Just Cause 2? I only have enough for one.

This was me during the Steam Christmas Sale. Say hello to your new friends pasta and canned tomatoes.
GTAIV or Just Cause 2? I only have enough for one.
GTAIV.
Still good for fucking around in and has a story worth giving a shit about.
So are they not doing any of the franchise packs this year?
Wow, never really looked at the Far Cry series before but it looks pretty damn awesome. Might as well pick it up on the sale. Is Blood Dragon worth it, as well?
Far Cry and Far Cry 3 are pretty great. The Blood Dragon isn't related but it's still pretty good, but short, from what I hear. Stay away from Far Cry 2, it's just bland

For Maximum fucking around fun, and great story, GTA4 can't be beat. Just Cause 2 is great don't get me wrong, but I think you'll get more hours of fun out of GTA4

how is the port?
As long as you have a decent PC, it's fine. Runs better than it does on my Xbox on my AMD x4 3.2ghz, 4Gb of RAM and HD7850, and so I run SweetFX on it and make it look half decent, too. My 5750 ran it without much issue also
haha screw these trading cards
"new item in your inventory" it's just some orange square titled Torchlight II and I got all excited cause I thought it was the game
But it was a card
how is the port?
Really good from what I heard, and there's also a bunch of interesting mods.
Am I the only one who keeps getting errors when buying games? Goddamn it, I want GTA IV The Complete Edition before the deal ends :(
So far I've bought 12 games despite having an outdated PC and wrist problems
gonna be nice once I can finally play them

I don't want to get it and then find out hardly anyone play, like with Red Orchestra 2, but if there are lots of people i might get it.

Most people in the RO communty are playing Rising Storm, that being said the community is small but dedicated.
i have only gotten dark souls this sale, i have no money for really anything else
Fuck impulse buying. I got some games I doubt I will even play instead of ones I want. I'm going to have to spend another 20$.
