In the old games you could ignore the story entirely and just focus on your mission. Which was so fucking brilliant. I mean sure there was little bits of story there, but I remember just enjoying the ride.
The new game sucks ass. Not the fun kind either.
The story is stupid, the missions are pretty awful, Instinct sucks, disguises suck. The only way to cruise through the game is just balls to the wall killing everyone on earth.
The story is fine, the disguise system in the old games was just as stupid, the missions are fine, and Blood Money isn't nearly as big as people claim.
RCT 3 Platinum is on sale. Is it worth it for $5?
What's the best game I can get for $2.50? I just spent the last 15 minutes putting useless TF2 stuff and trading cards on the market
Oh man steam sales what have you done to me. I was down the street and my phone vibrated telling me that a game I wanted was on sale and the sale was ending in 10 minutes... so I ran down the street back home just to just BARELY make it before 9pm and get kinetic void on sale. woo!
You know you can buy stuff through the Mobile app, right?

Psychonauts
Postal 2
The Witcher EE
Tomb Raider Underworld
Universe Sandbox
If you haven't played it yet, Postal 2 is really fun. Psychonauts is an even better choice but it depends on what type of game you want to play. Out of the list I've only played the first two, the other three I've seen my friends play and they said they like them.
So are there any games that I should pick up?
So are there any games that I should pick up?
Not a single one, no.
So are there any games that I should pick up?
Bad Rats is pretty fantastic
Stellar graphics and superb gameplay
The story made me cry
You know you can buy stuff through the Mobile app, right?
Not if you have no wifi and used 201MB of your 200MB data plan and get charged out the ass for extra data used, more so that it would be more money to buy it that way than not on sale :v:
is "I am Alive" any good? looks interesting, but it has pretty mediocre reviews
Ok guys need advice to what game or dlc to buy.
Tomb Raider
Rogue Legacy
BL2 Season Pass
or Dragonborn
Definitely Rogue Legacy, its super addictive and it has a nice replayability with New game+
How does getting cards work when playing games. Do you have to actively play the game(and maybe earn some achievements) or could you just start up the game, alt+tab and just wait a while?

It just checks if you have the .exe running in your processes. So in other words, you can alt+tab just fine

As long as the application (.exe) that the game is registered under is active, the cards will drop; whether the window is active or not does not matter.
This means you can idle on a main menu, alt-tab, play the game, use the overlay, or whatever else you want to do, and cards will still drop. As long as that game is running on the system in some way, you'll get drops.
Oh the irony, Budgeting software on sale during a Steam Sale.
Metro Last Light just got cards.
Damn, I'd get System Shock 2, but I don't have enough money.
Damn, I'd get System Shock 2, but I don't have enough money.
You can literally make enough money selling cards to buy most games that have gone on flash sales.
Well this card feature definitely throws the "shit i'm 10p off buying the game" shenanigans people get into
Still waiting for Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines to go on Sale.
system shock twoooooooooo
What I've bought so far:
AirBuccaneers - €3
Race Injection (Race07 including all DLC, more than 300 cars) - €5
System Shock 2 - €2.50
Hotline Miami - €2.50
A lot of amazing games under €15
I refuse to buy anything more than €7.50
(except Take On Mars for €10 which will be coming in about 2 weeks)

It was solving problems with mechanics set out for you. It was fun.
Having to shoot through everything isn't.

I played through the game on the highest difficulty only killing my targets. I don't see how the game forces you to kill everyone, it seems like you're just impatient. I will admit certain sections were kind of ridiculous though, like the fucking apartment complex lobby.
Simcity 4 deluxe on sale for 3 bucks.
Best part about it is that it's actually good.
Got that game in the last summer sale. The game is so old that its got all kinds of problems. You'd want to check this out in case you run into any problems. I've actually waded through tons of searches and found some other sites but I've forgotten them so this is what I could find at the moment.
I've played it before, with the unofficial patch. Made it run so much better, I just want to have it playable through Steam so I don't have trouble downloading it again in the future.
I find it absolutely hilarious that I was actually able to buy a game by selling digital hats and some digital cards.
one of my hats is supposedly "worth" around $8.00
who the hell pays for this shit
I've almost spent £100 now, which sounds silly, but I've been behind on a lot of game releases.
Picked up: Metro Last Light, Bioshock Infinite, XCOM, Far Cry 3, Far Cry: BD, Hitman Absolution, Borderlands 2, CS:GO, Just Cause 2, Legend of Grimrock, FTL, Thief Bundle and AntiChamber
