Well the only real difference there is that missions go level by level instead of finding them in the open world and the cops are more easily agitated.

This actually makes sense, as WoW is pretty much a standard now. It didn't change heavily during the years, and everybody knows it.
Today, there is a fuckton of mmos which more or less imitate WoW, so even if you compare a MMO to WoW, to say "Hmm, it doesn't look like WoW at all" its a good start.

Yes, pretty much this. Bullet hell shoot'em'up featuring lolis, and for some reason it has attracted quite of a crowd world-wide.
And it is the reason why I dislike Touhou quite much. The fans are so annoying sometimes. Lunatic difficulty is not that hard as they claim. ( I have not cleared single lunatic yet, but I could if I'd actually devote time. But I am devouting my time to DOJ and such. ) Why this pisses me off is that it is annoying, wrong and insults people who are actually skilled. For example, I am pretty sure Yusemi SWY or HFD would be pretty enraged if they heard such claims as "You should try Touhou, it is much harder!" or "This is Touhou easymode".
( Yusemi SWY and HFD are extremely skilled shoot'em'up-players. SWY is known for his triumphing in Ketsui and Mushihimesama Futari, while HFD performed almost perfect Dodonpachi Dai-ou-jou Black Label-run )
