Dude, no need to be an asshole. Yeah, I didn't know that your shield can recharge if you go into armour lock the millisecond your shield breaks. I apologised, you don't have to be a dick about it.
And my original point still stands. If you go into armour lock you can't move, shoot or reload, and your shields will only be starting to recharge, meanwhile your opponent has time to back up, reload and charge his shields. If you can counter an armour lock on foot you're doing it wrong.

I love killing them, they're an ammo drop for me. (playing on normal)
Just picked up on my legendary campaign again. I hate when you have to clear the area to set the charges on the cloaking device on Nightfall. I've died so many times.
But, on the bright side, I've cleared through one and a half missions so far. Going to go do some work and pick up on it again after.

Protip (seriously, read this): If you jam a forklift close enough to the wall, you can dismount and appear on the other side of it. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, but persist and you'll go through eventually.
I can't remember, but I think if you do do this then the enemies on the other side of the wall don't spawn, either. I might be wrong.
When you mean enemies, are you including just the Phantom that spawns or the shades and everything?

Like I said, I don't remember, but I believe [I]everything[/I] beyond the gate is despawned.
However, it is still pretty close to the end of the mission anyway. Still helpful, though, because those goddamn shade turrets shoot fast as shit.
