I just played the new update today and I had to quit playing in the middle of the first game.I have finally put my finger on the exact reason why I don't like playing Reach any more.It's not the game at all. It's the fuckers that I am always put against.
Because I am a fairly high rank now every game I have is ranked with according players and always have the luck of being put against the sort of cunts that are blatantly just going for kills in game types like hockey.They've completely ruined the game for me.

They were removed in the most recent update but I still get dicks who just run straight at me rather than, you know, the actual objective of the game type.
Well people aren't forced to go for the objective, so they aren't going to go for objectives when they can get easy kills.

All these people care about are commendations and ranks, to the extent where it ruins the game for other people.

Some people want to get to their next rank as fast as possible, Hockey allowed people to quickly level up their assassination commendation and Jack of all Trades, Close Quarters, and anything related to Melee'ing. And that helped to level people up.

You mean on Asylum? I just betray people that go to that exploit spot, its fun to see them rage about it.
Also the Swordbase one is on these small ledges inwhich if you sprint and jump onto the gravity lift you can get up, it makes it harder for the infected to get to you, but they can still get you, but its like I said, 'harder'.
People usually go up there, camp their asses off and pistol snipe, its fucking annoying when everyone does it, because its impossible for the zombies to get up there if, there is more than 5 people up there with shotties and pistols.

Either way, we should do customs this weekend, I'll be making some Zombie Panic! styled maps and default maps with kill zones on exploit areas in which we can play Alpha Zombies, or a Zombie Panic! Version of Alpha Zombies.
I need to play reach more before my xbl runs out. Too bad the TV I play it on is shit

I meant the sword base one. But I do the same on Pinnacle (did you mean that one?)

Sword base has little exploit, for zombies.
On the the top floor, the side with the glass balcony and ventlift exit.
Well there's a tiny ledge just below said camping spot.
If you can jump on that ledge and jump lunge, I'm pretty sure you could get people, if they're not looking.

I was playing griff ball the other day, and some guy asked us to stop planting bombs. I asked him why and he said people only play griff ball for kills.
Well, if they only play grifball for the kills, they should just get it to customs and stop ruining it for people who want to play the game like it's intended.

I play because I enjoy the game mode.
If I wanted kills id play slayer, I get a lot more in that.

And this is exactly the point I'm making.
I would just like to say that Big Team Battle Assault is now my favorite gametype. It feels more like Halo 3 than I expected. I never got to play it on Halo 2, though, because I just played Rumble Pit back then.
Well I've made my new zombie map and gamemode, and hopefully we'll be able to test it this weekend.
The gamemode is pretty much similar to Zombie Panic! I'll need to test it out though, I am going to make it so, zombies (The whitey might be allowed to kill in 1hit) will have to hit humans twice to kill them maybe, not quite sure yet, as I want it to be similar to Zombie Panic!
What I've done is, made the Alpha Zombie the Whitey, he can sprint and has the same movement speed of the survivors and like all other zombies, can jump higher, he is also immune to headshots and has increased damage resistance. Any new zombies will be in brown coloured armor and will move at 90% speed and will be unable to sprint, and will kill people in 2 hits, the idea behind this is for zombies to actually go around in a mob/horde and try to outnumber the humans instead of just running around infecting people willy nilly.
Humans will have unlimited ammo, but will need to reload their weapons still, they'll only be able to have one weapon, the sole exception for this is the last class that has the Grenade Launcher.
Heavy weapons won't have sprint. Only the Pistol-Only class and the AR-Only Class will have sprint, the Shotgun (doesn't have a sidearm) and Grenade Launcher with Pistol classes won't have sprint for balancing reasons.
Humans can't jump as high, only 90% jump height.
This gamemode of course can be played on any map, but would benefit from having maps designed around it. This weekend, we can play-test it, and I'll make adjustments and such. What I really want though, is for newly infected zombies to have to hit a human twice before they die, I'll be messing with their damage settings and Human damage resistances and Shields, I won't have human shields set to recharge, so they won't be able to survive every encounter.
I too made maps (1) with help by combo here, and it turned out that after enlarging the 1-4 player deathmatch map and adding more spawns, combo helped me find an flaw in the design that allowed players to just crouch on spawn and shootout each other without moving. What I ended up doing was I removed almost all highground spawns and made the very high areas softkill zones, so players are forced to advance to the middle. So while combo was making his zombie map I actually played with 6 people, which was a shitload of fun and I'm gonna post screens of that later too.
Lucky I found that spawn that fell in the sea and deleted all of the spawns to prevent spawning in said sea.
I'll test out my map tomorrow, add me if interested.
How did Bungie make such a stupid mistake. They finally made the Living Dead player count 12, allowing them to raise to zombie count to 4 to make it so you are a human twice and a zombie once, but they keep the zombie count at 3. WHY DO YOU FAIL AT MATHS BUNGIE

Whilst I am borrowing my friend's copy of ODST, I played it a couple more times, but the game is kinda dead.
It's not really that dead, cause I been playing it all night.
I can't play Halo 3 online because every time the map countdown gets to 0 it restarts the search for players.
Weird, I been able to find lots of games
I've found many games too. It's just when the map timer hits 0, it restarts a search.
That is pretty odd, I never had that happen. Maybe once or twice.
So who is coming to customs in a hours time?
