Aw yeah Super Jackpots for Big Team Battle this weekend. I tried to get one in the Defiant Playlist last week, but playing the same two maps over and over got boring.
Well I just got 10343 credits (9943 credits from Jackpot) from a Big Team Battle Slayer game, my team lost it, the winning team had 72 points, we had 68 points , but I got a Road Hog medal, it was on one of the new forge world maps, it was ok, but is very crude in some areas, I think it is called Renegade I can't remember, but I was flying the falcon and got 13 wheelmans before being blown up by a Plasma Launcher.
Either way... 110000 Credits to get to Colonel Grade one... :suicide:

I'm trying to get to Brigadier. That's the rank where all of the awesome helmets are unlocked, like Mark VI and that silly GUNGNIR helmet everyone drools over.

GUNGNIR looks like a fucking Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle on crack or some crap, and Mark VI is over-rated, there are tons better helmets than Master Chief's. All I want is the robotic arm with HP/Parafoil Chest or whatnot.

To be honest, I'm amazed the Halo Threads have made it this far. Mostly because I made the majority of them, but that's another story entirely.
Facepunch is, traditionally, anti-Halo, whether bandwagon influenced or otherwise.
Does it strike anyone else as odd that everyone says Halo should die? They've had four actual games, one expansion and an RTS that wasn't even made by Bungie.

went into leeds today for my birthday with some chums and managed to find the gamestop excvlusive steel CQC spartan reduced from £15 to a whopping £3.98!! it was the last one so i snapped it up immediatley (incase you don't do merchendising the figs are usually about £10 and it was supposed to be exclusive ot america) i also got the first 4 pack of halo mini mates off a friend.

And each game comes out around 2-3 years after the last. It's not like COD which has a new release every year(which is NOT how a major FPS should be released, it should be able to stand on it's own for years at a time). Each release is massive, and an event, as a Halo game releasing in itself is an event; there are so few of them that every time one comes out, a massive improvement, addition or otherwise change is made.

the only game i have looked forward to more than halo reach is portal 2, and i find nothing wrong with that.
