30 more pages :pervert: [editline]27th December 2010[/editline] Anyone up for some Matchmaking on the Noble map pack?
Confetti is fucking incredible. Now I just hope I can scrape together 175000 credits for it. :(
If anyone wants to get the challenge in 10- minutes, you can always do the cutscene glitch. Also, I just beat Nightfall on Heroic without dying in 4:04 minutes.
I found the Halo mega blocks things. Proves the age range of the player base.

I wonder, do the campaign challenges for this week have to be different? If not, maybe one could replay the first mission over nine times? Also, been doing really well in Team Slayer recently. I generally take up 25 to 30 kills per round, it's pretty sweet.

I've got the Heart Attack armor effect and 600,000 spare credits. :krad2: [editline]27th December 2010[/editline]
I wonder, do the campaign challenges for this week have to be different?
Enlighten me.
Skip to 8:45 in this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWFKhxRGf2M. It basically involves you going to the end of a level on Heroic or Legendary, waiting until the screen goes black, saving and quitting, resuming and earning yourself a deathless playthrough through a level (in the eyes of the game that is). Once you resume it, you return to the main menu and you can resume again, repeating until you got it 9 times. Video explains it better. You can also use this for the Flawless Cowboy and Demon commendations.
Typically this music plays when Ordinance has been deployed, but may go on into the round. Its rather beepy, no real rhythm or purpose, very haphazard. It often plays on Courtyard, but its played for me one other time on the map that "The Pillar Of Autumn" takes place on, and whose name escapes me. It's quite unsettling, and I find that it makes me want to quit the round. I may be just fooling myself, but I notice that this music is sometimes accompanied by Elite Rangers, but I don't know for sure. The significance of this strange and rather unfitting music has yet to be determined. Everything gets quiet too, I think the covenant forces deployed become quieter and talk less. The only thing that helps is murdering the enemies constantly to drown out the music. Im not saying that there are Ghosts Of Halo, but this music is very suspicious, as Firefight is not a creepy setting and does not fit this music, nor does the situation of receiving new weapons. If we look further into this, maybe get some Theater recordings, we can determine the reason for this creepy ass music.
Any update on this?
Confetti is fucking incredible. Now I just hope I can scrape together 175000 credits for it. :(
really? i think its stupid, you can only enjoy it if you die, which i very rarely do
Matchmaking anyone?
Matchmaking anyone?
I'd be up for some if I wasn't so fed up with Reach right now. My mind only has the capacity to finish a certain amount of Legendary campaign missions a day, because at times they become rather frustrating. Currently on New Alexandria, by the way. Haven't started it yet, because the end of Exodus just pissed me off. Apparently the human AI broke, and they'd stand around oogling at the Covenant. I finally went into rambo mode with a gravity hammer and took everything out - it was glorious.
I'm still mad at myself for the first week of Reach being out. I finished the first 8 levels of Reach on Heroic and got maybe 3/4 of the way through PoA, making me one level short of the weekly challenge.
Made it through New Alexandria earlier, by far the easiest mission of the game to play on Legendary. Going to see if I can make it through The Package tonight if I can will myself to go downstairs and attempt it. After that, I might just say fuck it and go for PoA to get the achievements.
Beat the campaign on Legendary. Fuck yeah.
Damn thread title has made me obsessed with Kat's Ass.
About to fall asleep, need to be up in an hour or two to do Christmas exchanges. Anyway, enjoy today's challenges. 3000 cR to anyone who can get 17 kills in a round. That's not hard at all. 1750 to someone who gets 7 close-quarters kills in a round. Easy money today.
Been saving up for the blue visor and finally got the 50,000cr for it last night. Felt a bit anti-climactic when I got it.
Anybody else disconnect a lot when playing Reach?
Anybody else disconnect a lot when playing Reach?
From live? Yes.

Anyone wanna play Firefight? I'm gonna get on in a minute, gamertag is "Gazalazabazado" in that exact case :v:
I'd prefer to play Matchmaking
I'd prefer to play Matchmaking
I wish I could play Firefight though. My stupid 4gig console won't play firefight or co-op campaign.
Easy for you to say.
Getting 17 kills in a match of Team Slayer isn't that difficult. A really easy and effective way to do this would be to find a match of Elite Slayer, pick the armor lock class, and use sticky grenades and the needler to your advantage. Lock armor every time you get stuck, and you'll also get medals while you're at it for rejections. An alternative would be to go into a match in Rumble Pit and try yourself there, but I personally think it would be easier to do in Team Slayer. [editline]28th December 2010[/editline] Also, we should add each other on Live so we can play Reach some time. Co-op campaign, matchmaking, or firefight. Basically, whatever you guys want to do at the moment. My gamertag is SystematikGWS.
I found it really easy in multi team territories. Just go to the territory and lob a handful of grenades in there. The territory is usually chaos.
16 kills in SWAT, goddamn. Got the 30 kills challenge though.
Multiplayer anyone?
