Oh gods, guys. I'm reading the new book, Cryptum.
Where to start?
-The Forerunners (the book is a recitation of the history and pre-Flood life of the Forerunners told by an, as of where I am, unnamed Forerunner, possibly The Librarian or Didact) had a fucking [B]huge[/B] empire.
-The Precursors were BAMFs.
-The Forerunners actively lived amongst humans, even teaching their children about them. They had all intents to pass The Mantle onto them.

Also of note; the Forerunners spent a majority of their lives in suits of armor, not unlike a Spartan. However, these suits were as if second skins. Each Forerunner possesses an individual Smart AI, like Cortana. These suits are also, via quantum entanglement, always patched into the Domain, a sort of Forerunner internet. This is all in addition to acting as a life support system, allowing Forerunner to "live so long".

More over, the Forerunners appear to "mutate" into their adult forms. Also, it's stated their homeworld is in the Orion Belt, where Earth is (referred to as "The Orion Complex"). Mars was colonized by the Forerunners, and given the name Edom.
A caste system is also displayed.

I'm going to pick that book up as soon as possible. Sounds fantastic in terms of lore.
I couldn't get any challenges yesterday because I had no time. I realized that you really only have to get 2 daily's a day, and 3 challenges on 2 days, so it really isn't that hard. But that book sounds really good.

Just played a game of team slayer and got 28 kills 6 deaths, fuck yes
I did all the daily challenges in about 8 games today.
What the hell is with the slot machine today.
Usually it only give around 200cr.
Today it hasn't been less than 500 for me.
Also earlier I got around 7500 from it.
I think Bungie upped the slots...

I usually get double digit slots, so ranking up is a pain in the ass. I don't know if I'll be able to do the weekly challenge this week, I don't have the time to get all those daily challenges with school just starting. Maybe if the dailies get easier I'll go for it.
I really really like swat, I always seem to be on top because headshots are second nature to me.

The highest win I've gotten from slots is 320, the rest of the time I get 80's. :frown:
I think bungie has updated the team slayer playlist, elite slayer is pretty rare and when you do play it everyone spawns with only one plasma grenade.
