More Forerunnery goodness coming your way from the God of Facepunch Halo, peoples. Read if you're not against spoilers. [sp]So, even more to cover. It would seem Humanity did, at one point, have a hyper advanced empire several thousand years ago. Around 10,000 years before Cryptum(dates are hard to pinpoint seeing as Forerunners live for quite some time). Problem is, they got knocked down a peg when they went to war with the Forerunners. However, the Mantle stops the species from being eradicated, so the FR's just "deevolved" humanity and split the species up into 12 subspecies. Presumably, only ours survived. Also, fun fact; the rest of the Covenant species were also around back then. The San'shyuum are mentioned. Those are the Prophets. In addition: Didact is(was) some epic bad ass Forerunner super soldier that (all speculation from here on out based on what I've read so far) was imprisoned by the Forerunners in a type of Pandorica(see: Doctor Who) in order to "punish" him.[conjecture ends here]. They spawn near the tower. And today, I was always blue team on Pinnacle.
