Bungie.net finally decided to render my Spartan.

Drew this thing not too long ago. It's a lot bigger actually. I don't plan to finish it because I can't color worth shit. Wanted to share it.

it's weird to see how pc gaming has affected my halo skills
in the first halo i was pretty fucking good at it, owned my friends all the time
in halo 2 i was always doing pretty good, 1st place to 3rd place in all my games
halo 3, i started to do worse. too used to a mouse
halo reach, i'm not very good at all. i suck at aiming with an analog stick

Isn't there an adapter that lets you use your keyboard+mouse? I think its made by XCM or something.
Funny fact: I never gained skill with keyboard/mouse. But my skills with analog have steadily risen over the years.
Halo 2-to currents combat system makes it easy to score a kill now

4 feels pretty good for me. I can't really do well with 5.

I'm the other way around, I find it easier to use both analog sticks together after using a mouse.
either that or I'm just good at both :v:

Seeing as I hadn't played a console FPS for ages I have gotten used to playing them pretty well since I got my xbox at Christmas.
The auto aim is way to much though.
Sometimes I don't even have to aim for head shots, it does all the work for me.

I only just found out today that I was using 10. I don't know how I never noticed. I put it back down to 6.
I need to increase my sensitivity just a bit, I hate slowly aiming to a guy behind me/above, it's painfully slow.

I always use 10. Anything less seems too slow.
Played for hours with my friends on three-way splitscreen today, went up a rank and gained about 30-40,000 credits. And now I'm several games away from the Mark V helmet.

More Forerunner info!
First off, the Halos;
-They were built in secret.
-The Librarian, for reasons that would be spoilerific, built the Ark in secret, and went around collecting lifeforms to preserve, knowing of the Flood.
-[sp]Humanity didn't just go to war with the Forerunners for the hell of it. They went to war over the Halos. On top of that, they kicked the Flood's ass once, hard.[/sp]
-Halos can be fired to destroy only a planet, but their main purpose is for entire galaxies.
-There was a LOT of dissent in the Forerunner ranks. The Didact himself was branded a traitor, as was the Librarian.
-Oddly, the Flood was known about far before the war and activation of the Halos. However, with [sp]humanity beating the shit out of them[/sp], the Forerunners only built the Halos once they deevolved humanity.
Goddamn the world I just want the Mark VI helmet and my spartan will be complete.
