Happens more on firefight or campaign.
I bought five original xbox games for £28 today. They were KOTOR, Mercenaries, THUG, Halo CE and Halo 2 Map pack. I don't think the map pack works without Live though - which is inconvenient because it's been shut off.
I got half way through the weekly challenge, than an elite throws a plasma grenade from 50ft away in between four trees, right past Gorge, that planted right on my face.

Halo 2 Map packs? Yeah, but you'd have to download them from the Halo 2 disk. But I don't even have it, and I doubt that you could download them now, what with there not being any Live connection...

I would've but they didn't have Halo 2 in the store. The reason I bought that was because it came with a copy of Halo 1, so I thought "hmm, four pounds extra for Halo 2 maps I could nostalgicly play with my friends". But I guess I can't play them now.

I'd give you Halo 2 if I had 2 of them like I do Halo 1.
I never play my xbox version of CE anymore.
For the weekly challenge you only have to fight at the garage and when you are inside the base. You run past everything to the right until you hit the vehicle then go past all of the points and hit the garage last. My strategy for the garage is basically pick off the grunts and jackals with magnum/Dmr then wait for noble team to kill the elites.
Hide in the small airlock type thing after you get dropped off by the falcon and wait at the back until Kat closes the door. After that take a Dmr off the wall and pick off the grunts/jackals from cover or a distance. Let Jorge distract the elite so you can assassinate him.
At the final fight pick off all of the grunts and jump down to get the shotgun and drop shield. To get into the mini courtyard thing in the middle of the room you have to go under an overpass, you can jump onto the overpass and the elite will just go back to where he spawned. What i did is i got the elite to get stuck in one spot when i was up there and i shot him with the shotgun until he died.
[b]PROTIP:[/b] Whenever you die, quickly save and quit, you can then reload the map at the checkpoint you were last at and the mission will still be completable.
Just finished the Reach campaign, moving on to CE. On heroic difficulty. Wish me luck.

I also found a data pad thing, I was pretty excited. How many of them are there?
I cheated on the Weekly. I turned on another controller so Iron would only take me back to the last checkpoint (which saved my ass with the Zealots at the end) and I used a bit of tape on my TV for a crosshair. It still took me an hour and a half though.
