I got Cross Mappin' on Hemorrhage BTB. Was really easy actually, first achievement I got out of the DLC achievements.

I'm going through a fairly stressing and time-consuming phase at school right now, with all these huge final tests and such, but I'd love to play some custom games with you guys if I have the time.

Is playing Gruntpocalypse on Score Attack over and over for lots of credits considered cheat? By that I mean, will Bungie reset my shit? I mean, it's nothing ridiculous, about 1000 credits a match if you kill all the grunts before time runs out.

Its not cheating but youll get deemed a farmer by the lower ranks of the community.
I play gruntpoclypse for the dailys but never for fun, I find it boring.
I find it pretty boring too, but I just want to level up a bit so I can get some of the different gear.

This reminds me of how I got Cross Mappin' - funny story. It was Big Team Slayer on Breakpoint, and I was casually DMR'ing this two-manned warthog, not really trying to kill it. I was over near that big road tunnel which separates the two halves. The warthog's driver must've been in a bad mood, as he drives off the landing pad into the abyss (while both people were still inside).
Achievement Unlocked pops up, and man I gotta rush from that. Even if it was unintentional.
Just got 2700 credits and nearly half a level from a Gruntpocalypse on beachhead, and only like, 600 of that was from commendations. :v:

It felt weird playing it. The death noises sound like shit and it is pretty easy to kill people.
I used to play it all the time around my friends house. Might play a bit more for nostalgia purposes.
I wish people actually played custom games for Reach. Almost everyone these days are either not playing reach anymore, or are only playing matchmaking.

Ideally it is something Id love to get going again but we ran into problems that I think need workarounds before we do it again.
Like when non-facepunchers join, get getting hold of host then not giving it up when I tell them to give it to the next person who wants to play their map.
Also like I said before, there needs to be enough interest.
Im hoping if this does work out it will rejuvinate this thread a bit.

Instead of giving host to those who want to play a map, have them use their fileshare or something for the gametype / map. That way you can have one or two hosts who keep the lobby as opposed to someone who MIGHT follow the rules.

Agreed, its less convinient but a lot more safe, I remember once someone's friends friend got host and booted facepunchers for not having the mythic map pack, then it turned out to be a shitty D-day map.
Then he took control of the game so we had to leave it to its own devices and had to start a new party.
I had to quit a firefight match because neither of my fucking sisters would answer the god damn phone so I had to get up and do it and now I'm super pissed.
