My experience with Halo has been great. It was a great game to grow up aside. Here is how I felt through the games.
Halo - HOLY SHIT! This is awesome. Beat with my best friend time after time on CO-OP.
Halo 2 - Story is pretty cool, felt like a strong game. Xbox live! Played Halo 2 online for YEARS.
Halo 3 - Finally, the story is complete...maybe? Pretty epic either way! The live was okay, new game modes were okay.
Halo ODST: Beat once, it was okay but I didn't buy it. Beating it once was enough to get the jest of it.
Halo Reach: Wasn't how I pictured it was going to be, but it was cool to fight along with other Spartans. The multiplayer was kind of neat.
Halo Wars: I'm not saying it's bad, I've heard great things. Just didn't get a chance to play it yet, and I just had my 360 die recently.
Over all I say Halo 1 had the best campaign feeling; being such a new, unknowing, and open world. And Halo 2 multiplayer was great to me, years of timeless fun and gameplay.
*This is all opinionated, sorry if I offended the Internet people. Lol.*
EDIT: Also, I am reading The Flood right now. I enjoy it so far!
Just completed Halos 1-3 recently. I used to [I]/utterly/[/I] detest the halo story.
I was wrong. Very wrong. It was one of the best FPS experiences i've had in a while. and it was bluddy luxorioush. If i had the choice i would play them all again.
But fuck the library. [I][B]FUCK.[/B][/I] the library. It was one of the most annoying levels i've experienced since the Wanker's-cramp inducing torture segment of MGS1.

I never say anything bad about a game until I play it for at least 2 hours.
My friend played half life for about 30 minutes at the start said it was gay then got rid of it.
I said "You have to give it a chance you dont do much at the start but it gets better" but no he replies with "Its shit"

I hate it when people do that. My friends all hated Combat Evolved just because of the multiplayer, and with them, they judged it on graphics, not gameplay.
Combat evolved got me into PC gaming and I'm not afraid to admit it :colbert:
Does anybody remember Stubbs the Zombie? That game was made by Bungie I think, or at least with the Halo engine. I just put it in my xbox for the first time in years, it's awesome. Hilarious too.

Is it just me, or is the campaign in Halo 3 superb? Aside from a few bugs now and then, it's probably my favorite or second favorite campaign. Also, is Bungie gonna get Martin O'Donnell to do the music in their new game?

Well, it didn't really suck, but it was my least favourite of the trilogy. I honestly can't decide on my favourite, though.

It used the Halo engine but it wasnt made by the Bungie.

Ha thats penuts, you get shit loads of credits by the time you get there, when I got to brigadier I had about 700,000 credits and I spent money on things everytime I ranked up.

So I was playing forge wars with my friends today, and I slowly discovered that my friend had created a series of traps on his side of the map, like rooms that you can escape without blowing yourself up, very devious
anyone playing custom games? i played a map with a huge slope and a tele from bottom to top, you speed down the slope in a warthog getting faster while zombies try to take you out, its SOOO fun.
