It's about the Forerunner-Flood war am I right?
Indeed it is. It's actually quite interesting, and paints an interesting view of the universe.
I did. Probably one of the best video game based books I've ever read.
This. [editline]21st February 2011[/editline]
[img_thumb]http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/1515/deargodwhat.png[/img_thumb] Is this bungie.net? Credit to Ban Camp it seems. l V
Sir, give me a high five.
I check the Reach forums once in a while, but they only make threads with titles that have a couple of capitalized words like RANDOM, FIX UR GAME and stuff, and everyone complains about them wanting a Title Update, like it would change the entire fucking game and make everyone love it. Oh, and Armor Lock whiners complaining how it's OVERPOWERED. (cwutididthar?)
Armour lock is one of the easiest pieces of equipment to counter in my experience. I don't see how it could be considered OP to be honest.
You know. i don't consider halo novels/comics canon until they are made into a game.
Armour lock is one of the easiest pieces of equipment to counter in my experience. I don't see how it could be considered OP to be honest.
My ghost game-mode has taught people the art of armour lock slaughter
You know. i don't consider halo novels/comics canon until they are made into a game.
Sorry but thats known as being in denial. You cant just decide what you think is canon or not.
Sorry but thats known as being in denial. You cant just decide what you think is canon or not.
This is true. As Halo lore god on FP, and according to the scripture(IE rules of Bungie), all the novels and games are considered hard canon, though games supersede novels.
This is true. Not sure about ilovebees, doubt it is canon though.
This. [editline]21st February 2011[/editline] Sir, give me a high five.
I deserve the high-five. I just asked him to upload it to facepunch on steam cause I was busy making the Dmr one. Me and Bob cake were having Ms paint battle
So i just ordered the game, and honestly the only thing i'm looking forward to is Forge and the campaign to co-op with my buddys, Can i expect any thing good besides those?
Multiplayer. Firefight Arcade is pretty sweet as well. [editline]21st February 2011[/editline] Place your hand on your screen.
How's the multi-player?, i played halo 3 multi player and all i got was grenade spam and douche bags running around with the rocket launchers Why did you say place your hand on the screen, anyway i did that and nothing happened [editline]21st February 2011[/editline] Is there still dual wielding? [editline]21st February 2011[/editline] The carbine is single shot now? [editline]21st February 2011[/editline] You buy shit in multi player?, what the hell, sounds a little like cod but i know this is better [editline]21st February 2011[/editline] Is the jetpack infinite?, or does it run on power or something

He was saying "put your hand on the screen" to someone else. Dual wielding is gone. The carbine is gone, but a similar weapon replaced it. You buy things in multiplayer, but they're purely cosmetic, and completely optional. The jetpack runs out of fuel while you use it, and replenishes over time. Theres sprinting now :v [editline]21st February 2011[/editline] Do you level up in multi player? Also Reach came out before COD Black Ops so its vise versa, you can buy armours, voices for firefight and death effects.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJtN72WeNeA&NR=1
Sprinting is an armor ability - you can choose others, like jetpacks, armor lock (temporary invincibility (can't move, though)), drop shield (think bubble shield from Halo 3, but destroyable), invisibility (fades while moving and jams enemy radar), evade (dive out of the way sort of thing), and hologram (send a fake you out in a straight line). Yes, you level up in multiplayer Fork lifts are only on a few levels in campaign Firefight is a sort of "hold out as long as you can" mode I don't think so, but it doesn't really matter much since that truck is only one one or two levels in campaign
Jetpacks too!
You're so fucking late it hurts Go to halopedia or something and read up instead judging everything just by it's name and little snippets of what you hear
I was hoping to pick up a Halo book, can somebody tell which is the best one?
Contact Harvest. [editline]21st February 2011[/editline]
I did. Cryptum was pretty good, I liked learning that [sp]Humanity was at war with the Forerunners with the Prophets race as allies[/sp]
This is true. As Halo lore god on FP, and according to the scripture(IE rules of Bungie), all the novels and games are considered hard canon, though games supersede novels.
What exactly should we consider canon, in terms of the effectiveness of weapons/armor? There is a lot of inconsistency between the games, books, and animated show (Halo: Legends). For example, I remember reading in a book (don't remember the name) of a Brute taking sustained fire from over 20 sources, and surviving, while in the games they die in a couple bursts of a battle rifle. Halo: Legends, and the promotional videos (Halo Landfall) seem to be in between.
Hooray, I made it to Lt. Colonel.
