I went back to halo reach after 2 months and I'm very disappointed in the community.
I'm seeing shitty so called meme "tags" and furry nude images in the most downloaded. It's basicly /b/ put into a game.
Am I the only one who thinks that the fileshare community is utter garbage?

The second most downloaded file is one of those stupid nude images composed of Forge objects. It's a furry.
You know how Furry Fan Art is awful? You know how it's also usually done by somebody who has no business using a drawing utensil? And how they only draw because other furries do it? Yeah, thats the second most downloaded image on Halo: Reach. The devs must be weeping in their cubicles.
I really wish people would vote for Boardwalk more often. I just played it for the first time and it's easily my favourite map (so far). The chaotic urban combat it offers is intense, I haven't had firefights as cool as that on any other map.

Play snipers and that maps comes up quite a bit.
I remember when people modded actual porn onto Bungie Favourites back in Halo 3. I did try to send my friend some of it, and got an automated warning for trying to upload it onto my own fileshare.
Does anyone remember that Elephantitis map from Halo 3? The one with 20 or so elephants?

All I remember is trying to have an amazing Elephant chase scene, with two elephants "racing" after each other while a moving firefight erupts. "Racing" is used as a replacement for "Crawling pitifully" in this statement.

It's not against the rules to play or download modded maps, or even to make them, as long as you don't upload them online.

Elephant Wars were one of my favorite things ever, especially if you could get a full game. It's like two groups of desert raiders conflicting.
Am I the only one who suddenly feels like going back to Halo 3?
My friends and I still play 3 on a regular basis because of nostalgia and all of the great maps and fametypes that we just can't remake in Reach. We mostly enjoy 3's custom games more than we enjoy Reach's because of the libraries we've built over the years.
It'd be pretty cool if they could somehow bridge Halo 3 forged maps and Halo Reach's, course I doubt anyone would bother devoting time to that.
