Because that was the level where you defeated the last of the Covenant Loyalists, silly. Well, except for that Grunt in the last level.
Ah, so the Halo 3 levels are named after the things you do? Such as The Ark, Sierra 117, Cortana, etc...
Played some custom games (before the Defiant playlist was released) on the new maps with the bungie.net Halo community today. They were all higher ranks than me, and at least 16+. Was surprised, I was expecting 12 y/o kiddies as you would.
Yay ,finally got unbanned.
Sadly it made me realise I'm going to have the "Players don't have the recommended DLC" sign blinking at me for a few weeks because of the new map pack.
That thing is fucking annoying.
Finished 343 Guilty Spark and Library on my Halo PC heroic playthrough. 343GS was a bitch, but not because it was hard (it was actually pretty easy) - the atmosphere of it was scary as fuck. Library was, very surprisingly, easy, once I realized that the flood don't actually respawn - there's just a metric shitfuckington of them. Knowing that, I took it room by flood-infested room until the end, which was a mad dash for the Key, completely disregarding any attackers.
by the way, playing Reach now if anyone wants to join
Could somebody nice render this video for me?

Watch it if you want, it's pretty lucky.
To someone who has both map packs.
Defiant or Noble. I can only get one at the moment.

I don't have both map packs, only noble.
I can tell you though that noble is pretty boring.
I would go with defiant.

Not been able to buy Defiant since I'm like 50p short in my account, I get some money in the near future so I'll be able to tell you then.
Just wait.

Noble because the maps you get are more forgeable. For example, in Condemned, you get a crate, and a camping stool. And you have to share the stool. One of the Defiant maps is even a Firefight map, not a very good one at that.

This post makes no sense.
Get Noble because it's forgetable. Defiant is bad cause you have to share a stool and you don't like the firefight map?
Oh, Forge-able. Sorry. But, I'm not really into Forge.

In that case buy Noble still. Unless you have your heart set on Firefight and you need a new map to liven things up, buy that other map pack.
I like firefight and the two new maps sound grand.
Sorry if my posts don't make sense, my toenail caught on something before and it's distracting me

I knew you'd break my automerge!
[editline]15th March 2011[/editline]
Now I look crazy by the amount of times I've posted on this page.
Dude the amount of posts you have on this page is leading me to believe you're insane.
Hahahah okay nevermind, what an opportune time for a new page...
I'll play tomorrow, I decided to watch too many episodes of Red Dwarf...
Another map pack released, another map pack missed.

:smithicide:
Defiant Map Pack is amazing, in my opinion. Highlands has a very classic feel to it and Condemned is just great fun.
I got home, and these maps were in the download list. I never paid for these maps!
You're on the case!

You lucky SOB, my brother still hasn't given me the MS points he owes me, so I can't have the maps yet.
I might pop on in about 10 mins.
[editline]16th March 2011[/editline]
I WILL pop on SOON. Fuck my shitty timekeeping and these damn Red Dwarf episodes!
FUN FACT: In Halo 3, on the multiplayer map "Isolation", the ground will get more invested with Flood spores as time goes on.

Where did you hear that?
Tried and tested in the game. Takes about an hour to fully develop.

It's on a lot of sites, actually. I only saw it in motion once, at 3:42 minutes into this video:

Some of these tactics could be put to good use
