I just caught a shiny Boldore. FUCK YES, my first one in years of playing.
I've been playing since pokemon blue, so about 10 years? and I've yet to catch a single shiny, except the red gyarados.

Only if you battle competitively under Smogon's rules (I think).
Yesterday I was playing Pokemon Online on the PO server and I was free to use Blaziken with Speed Boost.
Honestly banning Blaziken just for it's DW ability is p. dumb. It's not like you can't still kill it, I'm pretty sure Swampert would wall the common Speed Boost sets like a pro. That's my opinion, glad I no longer wish to be a part of Smogon's affairs, I feel so free being able to use pretty much anything now.

I don't agree with whatever Smogon is. If I'm going to battle someone I'm going to use whatever the hell I damn well feel like (except hacked pokemon of course). Of course I have yet to beat the game, I've been kind of slacking and have decided to take a break and EV train my Boldore's speed. (Level 48, his Speed was at 38, now its 46. He's still level 48).
EV Training is wonderful. Once I'm done with that I'll probably breed him again and EV train his off spring. I don't know why but I love Boldore and I want to breed the best that I can.
