Found it as a roggenrola in the first cave, it was my first shiny. Bricks were shat when I accidentally critted it, but it kept alive with sturdy.

Why EV train a slow ass in speed that wouldn't matter when you could boost it's awesome defense or attack?

Right now he's attacking AFTER everything. I want him attacking first so I can have him Iron Defence right away. The quicker I get his defence doubled the better. That and it'd be sweet to have a slow Pokemon be fast.

This may sound like much, but 163 is just below the average for a non-speed boosted level 50 Pokémon. This is, if you ALSO have 31 Speed IV (aka, the maximum). You will not outspeed anything.

It SORT OF makes sense to EV train your weaknesses, in some special situations, but speed is an all-or-nothing stat; you either have more than your opponent or less, and Boldore will always have less.

Finally retrieved my Shiny Charizard from my FireRed and Rayquaza from my Emerald. All put into Black from Diamond. I'll be breeding Charmanders like crazy now! Can't have enough Charmanders.
