Now I'm in no position to agrue Pokemon logic, but when Generation 3 rolled around and they introduced dual typing they wanted to keep the spread as diverse as possible.

Because it can actually fly perhaps? It's a Water Dragon, it's classed as Water Flying for reasons unknown, but it can still fly anyways so it's not like it doesn't make sense either way.

Before it was removed it said it was coming back April 13th, would have been March 30th except for the Quake. Now you're telling me there was an aftershock? When did this happen? I thought aftershocks normally hit during the same day. Not weeks later?

Here in NZ we had quite a devastating earthquake too, though not as severe as having a tsunami and unstable reactors but unfortunately we keep getting aftershocks all the time.
So yeah, it's uncommon but big earthquakes get aftershocks at different times compared to usual ones.
