What's so special about Audino?
What's so special about Audino?
It gives a crap load of exp
Once I've finished the game (at 7th gym now) - anyone want to battle using in-game teams? Before everyone starts making proper teams.
What's so special about Audino?
It gives a really nice EXP yield for its level
It gives a crap load of exp
I found one just walking through the woods on the way to the first city... should I have killed it instead of capturing it?
I found one just walking through the woods on the way to the first city... should I have killed it instead of capturing it?
Well you'd have to catch one at some point - might as well get it out of the way. I caught my first one too.
Makes the game so boring, whats the point in having a 6 party when you use only one
Speeds up gameplay, so you get to experience the story faster.
What's so special about Audino?
It gives 4 or 5 times more XP than other pokemon of the same level.
I've heard that Black and White aren't really that good. Would you guys recommend it?
Which idiot stated that it wasn't good?
Which idiot stated that it wasn't good?
The one that stated that none of the Pokemon you find make you want to catch them and that the game brings very little to the table.
The one that stated that none of the Pokemon you find make you want to catch them and that the game brings very little to the table.
If you see a giant electrical floating leech or Archaeopteryx and you don't want to catch it, something is wrong with you. Also, my pokémon are almost going to evolve. I always keep them in their baseforms until they learn the last attack I want them to learn, and only then let them evolve. Having moves like Leaf Storm and Sword Dance as soon as level 40, as well as that sudden burst of power when their stats go up a fait bit in their evolved form is pretty damn worth it.
I don't know when my Pokemon are going to evolve since I'm avoiding all Pokemon websites until beating the game. ...can someone tell me whether my Litwick will evolve soon? It's like level 38 at the moment and it still gets dominated on a regular basis.

Black and White are quite mature for Pokémon games. There was this house in the 8th Gym's city, [sp]where there was an old man and a young boy; the old man spoke about how he wished he could've spent more time appreciating the time he had when he was young, and how he remembers that he couldn't wait to grow up. The young boy spoke about how he couldn't wait to grow up.[/sp]
Yeah, I would cancel it's evolution until 49 at least (you NEED that attack), and 55 if you want Pain Split.
Argh what the hell is going on with the foe's critical hit ratio in this game, it makes training lower level Pokemon so difficult when any of their hits can often get a critical and knock you out in one go
Black and White are quite mature for Pokémon games.
I was also pretty impressed that the 'bad guys' actually have a vision that's not only agreeable with, but also asks questions about the very core mechanics of the franchise. Then, of course, the first thing they do is beat up an innocent Munna and I realize they're not sympathetic activists, but they're more like PETP (People for the Ethical Treatment of Pokémon). I know they have a lower chance of attacking themselves while confused and using more attacks with 2-5 attacks (Rock Blast, Fury Swipes). I wouldn't be surprised if they have a higher critical hit-chance, too.
I've heard that Black and White aren't really that good. Would you guys recommend it?
Major disagree. At first glance I thought the entire thing was stupid, with the names of the games, how it's just another Pokemon game and how introducing another 150+ Pokemon was overkill. I was convinced to buy it though and up untill now, I've loved every moment of it. I honestly can't remember the last time I had THIS much fun with a pokemon game since playing Pokemon Crystal many-a year ago with my Gameboy colour. It definitely doesn't feel like it's "just another Pokemon game" anyway, well worth the £25 I spent on it for the amount of fun I've had from it so far anyway. The new region is great, the new series of Pokemon we have kick ass (We actually have fire pokemon now, wahey!) and it's much harder than previous games which is a plus, despite how I ranted in my last post

Spend 5 ultra balls, 10 great balls on Victini catch it first time when I throw a pokeball. ...
In HG I caught Ho-oh with my first ultra, and in this Gen I caught Victni with my third ultra ball :smug:
In HG I caught Ho-oh with my first ultra, and in this Gen I caught Victni with my third ultra ball :smug:
I actually learned, when you use your dusk/quick balls appropriately they are twice as effective as ultra balls.
In HG I caught Ho-oh with my first ultra, and in this Gen I caught Victni with my third ultra ball :smug:
I caught it with a normal pokeball. Your achievement is irrelevant.
Speeds up gameplay, so you get to experience the story faster.
killing the game :smithicide: I like to go in and catch 1 of every type I see, evenly leveling a 6 pokeman squad too, even if having to use HMs shits on that a bit.
Speeds up gameplay, so you get to experience the story faster.
this is quite possibly one of the stupidest things ever said in this thread series

Anyways, I swept through the 8th gym with Exactidrill. I just used sword dance on the first move and earthquake afterward.
