What exactly is the point except getting that pokemon battle ready? (Still talking about heal balls) Is there an increased catch rate on something perhaps?
So why exactly can't trainers capture fainted pokemon anyway is it some kind of moral code

It's clearly why Team Plasma/Rocket/Galactic/Magma/Aqua doesn't all come at you at once with all their pokemon or have like 4 trainers fight you at once, or beat the crap outta you.
If they tried that I'd resurrect at a pokemon center, grind my main to lvl 100 at the local patch of grass and then beat the shit out of them

No, it would be cool if it was like a masterball for audino's though. Back in Ruby I used to think luxury balls were better for catching classy pokemon, so i saved it for a Milotic. It never got used :/

When I got to the big tree, bubbles holding Arceus, Zekrom, Victini, Lucario, and Mewtwo showed up.
I was under the assumption I could choose one of them.
But turns out they were other Pokemon people own that got to the tree...
