So I go and lose my Pokemon White just as I find a shiny evee in Pearl. Fuck, I wanted to transfer it, too.
I hate the official battles because the people who win are the autistics that focus completely on stats. Pokemon are aesthetically pleasing for a reason, so you can choose your favourite. Just focussing on the stats, in my opinion, is taking all the fun out of the game.

Well, to each his own, everyone can enjoy the game how he or she pleases, some just play the story and maybe try to catch them all, and others like to play competitively. I find your description for competitive players as "autistics" to be pretty offensive.

That's entirely speculative. Some people may enjoy pokemon purely because of their stats or purpose in the competitve scene. For example my bro is Garchomp because he's a goddamn cross between a shark and a jet fighter, and he's an absolute powerhouse in competitive play.

not as bad as the ones who selectively breed over and over again until they find JUST THE RIGHT combination of stats, nature, moves, ability...
Oh god, getting an Adamant Archen that is female is taking forever.

That's what I mean, the ones who just obsess over every little detail, when it's really just a yellow mouse that shoots lightning. Which is awesome.

The game has focused a hell of a lot more attention on the so called 'autistics' with the inclusion of EVs, IVs, abilities, dream world etc which can all pretty much be ignored if you're playing for your favourite so I'd hazard a guess that you're in a minority here, or at least not the majority.
I've never played competatively and I doubt I ever will but the theorymon behind it all is something I like, that and applying it partially to my team in the game.

So you're complaining about people having patience? Besides why do you care, it's not as if it matters to your game if they've done it for their team.

Oh and sorry, I meant to say autists.

It's just my view on playing playing it different to how I do, I'm not trying to change people's ideas

I was more of mentioning it because of how you seemed to be calling the all autistics, if you don't mean to then nevermind, but pretty sure the word autist is the exactly same meaning anyway?

I'm not sure if "autistics" is a word so I thought that perhaps that was what was causing the offense.

I've nothing to complain about because I don't play competetively online, I just think it's sad :v:
I just realized I played through both Silver and Crystal when I was a kid.
Talk about getting some value on a game.

Yellow and Silver for me. Never got a GBA so never played any of the 3rd gen. Also played Diamond and Platinum. Can't remember if I beat those or not though, I sold them with my DS. Biggest mistake ever.
I can't remember what all I've played but I remember from the first 2 gens that I've played Red, Yellow, Silver and Crystal.
Nuzlocke is best way to play

FUCK NO. Chikorita is the best IMO, their cuteness is unbearable
It's very easy to exploit those rules since they have no idea on balance, and everyone and their grandmother enters using a team of legendaries.
No I don't.
Also the only legendaries allowed are cobalion, verizion, terrakion, tornadus, thundurus, and landorus. None of those are REALLY op, terrakion thundurus and landorus are a little

I traded my Ditto for a Japanese Ditto, so now I'm farming eggs to hatch a shiny Ponyta.
