This game may just take the god tier position in my books, with the Bad Team is somehow agreeable, Gym Leaders having a much larger role and theres proper difficulty.
Hell, some of the designs I was a little iffy about aren't being a problem to me anymore. No wonder it got full marks in that Japanese review magazine.

Count the shelves, 2 up, left, 2 down, right (to where you started) and then 1 up.
Granted, it took me a minute at first.

Burgh's gym layout was pretty cool.
Burgh's gym layout was pretty cool.
But it was literally just ohhey there are these walls that only serve to impede your path. There was no puzzle element beyond step on all of the buttons.
Alright I think I should say the gym's style was pretty cool since you put it that way.
i guess
bees are pretty cool
Whooped the shit out of the second gym leader. Throh is a champ!

The 8.9-magnitude earthquake that struck Japan on Friday 11 March has affected everyone, including several Pokémon officials.
Midori Harada, an artist for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, has tweeted that:
“ Not allowed to leave the building. It is OK if I use the stairs, give that there is no problem at other floors. Hmm, I would like you to work in about 3 days now elevator. ”
-- Midori Harada
Ken Sugimori, illustrator of the artwork for Pokémon games, has also tweeted that he is stuck at the Naha Airport.
“ After traveling March 10 and 11 to Okinawa for business travel, I have not suffered. The flight was canceled on March 11, and unable to fly. Presently waiting at the Naha airport since cancellation. ”
-- Ken Sugimori
Despite numerous reports on various social networking websites, Pokémon creator Satoshi Tajiri is still alive and is well.
Nintendo of American has also released a tweet stating:
“ Thanks for your concern! During the earthquake no one at Nintendo in Japan was injured and there was no apparent structural damage. ”
-- Nintendo of America
If Bulbanews learns of any other Pokémon Company, Game Freak or Nintendo staff that have been affected by the earthquake, or if it will have any effect on the franchise (as did a 2004 earthquake), this article will be updated.
Good to know the creators are all safe for now.
Oh thank fucking goodness. *phew*
tried to sweep through all of Elesa's pokemon with a Liepard with Macho Brace to maximize useful speed EVs, but then an Emolga got a crit Volt Switch.
:c
Had to spend some of the Big Man's EVs on useless speed (for a Conkledorr).

I plan on getting into breeding Pokemon. When you guys consider a trade, what do you think about (other than the actual Pokemon)? Moves? Nature? Ability?
The other important thing is the IVs, or Individual Values. They're random numbers assigned to every pokemon that represent a stat increase. A Pokemon has IVs for every stat and range between 0 and 31 - so a Pokemon with a 31 IV in speed will have a speed stat 31 higher than one with a 0 IV at level 100. These numbers aren't given to you however, so you have to calculate them (there are various ways of doing this).
What level does Tynamo evolve?

Level 39.
Finally find my GBA SP charger and pop in Sapphire.

Why do you think I got Soulsilver? I tried playing my original copy of Silver a while back to find that the battery died.
I hate the sudden difficulty spike when you reach the Pokemon League. This game has definitely been the hardest Pokemon I've played, but I now have to spend a couple of hours retraining and rejigging my team which sort of interrupts the flow of things.
[editline]12th March 2011[/editline]
My team (in training) for the Pokemon League
- Rufflet (soon to be Braviary)
- Emboar
- Galvantula
- Beartic
- Druddigon/Haxorus (undecided)
- Pawniard (soon to be Bisharp)
I'm getting them all to level 50+ now
Sleeping tactics are so damn cheap. 5 of my pokemon have sleep-inducing moves. :v:

Safari Zone. Have Fun catching one.
Just pulled up my Pokemon Emerald from when I was young. Still had my level 70 Kadabra there waiting for me :neckbeard:
Is it just me or do a lot of the Pokemon in Black and White evolve late?
When I went through the Japanese version, I was stuck with Darumaka and Sandile for the longest time.

It's not even that hard to level up in this game.
In fact, I'd say it's the easiest game to main game grind. Just run around outside some easily spottable brushes until you see some shake and then go in there. Beat up the Audino -> get buttloads of exp rinse repeat.
It's the reason why all of my pokemon are edging lvl 35 and I haven't even fought Clay yet.
I named mine Smugleaf, too. :v:
I'm definitely naming all the Pokemon I care about.

Game sort of gives you that one.
The bug gym was a bitch though. Smugleaf didn't stand a chance.
I named my Smugleaf Smugleaf too.
Also, you either have to level Smugleaf high enough to get Slam at that point or get some Pokemon to counter that bitch.
Also I just dropped the level the shit out of starter-strategy, I started running into cool as shit dudes and couldn't resist capturing them.
Where can I get a Throh? I looked around, but couldn't find one. I'm still at the second gym.

And you can get a Macho Brace and a Lucky Egg near the middle of the game.
Oh, snap, that lvl 15 Farfetch'd you get in trade for spearow in vermillion rivals my lvl 18 Pidgeotto! Bye, Pidgeotto

Farfetch'd sucks and Pidgeotto still has another evo.
