No but it's just something that's been bugging me for years. I mean..do they get hungry inside those pokeballs? Are they even, by any definition, alive? Or are they "beamed" (Star Trek reference) into the pokeball, and then reappear later?
I would think it keeps them in a sort of 'conscious stasis' where their physical embodiment is almost frozen like but they are capable of using their 5 (or 6, they are animals after all) senses, which could explain why they are somehow able to know what's happening outside their captivity. The frozen stasis would be for preserving the condition of a healthy/un-healthy pokemon to prevent the dangers of them getting worse without access to immediate medical care.

I think it's best not to think about this.
I encountered Giratina in the Spring Path cave, but since I didn't bring a Pokemon with Yawn, Hypnosis or Sing, is it possible for me to leave and then come back? And is there a way to get into the Inn in Canalave?
It has been more than a month since I did that eeveelution promotional thing and I still can't find the bugger. Oh well. It's good to know that the great legendary beast Zekrom dreams about placing pillows and potted plants around his cottage, though.
Fuck you Mesprit, I'm tired of running after you

Second: Event will open it up.
Second: Event will open it up.
And that event is long gone.
A theory to talking Pokemon is that all Pokemon have the ability to learn the human language, as Meowth did. Slowking was incredibly intelligent, so he could speak fluent [NATIVE LANGUAGE HERE]. Pokemon Like Mewtwo and Lugia were Psychic pokemon, and could speak through telepathy, so they didn't need to learn how to physically speak. Lucario spoke using the Aura. Chatot are born with the ability to mimic Human Speech. And the Copycat chick's Doduo/Dodrio could speak English too. All it takes is the motivation to want to speak the language, which is why Pokemon like Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza cannot speak(mainly because they are more "feral", like Rayquaza's territorial nature and groudon and Kyogre's rivalry). Also, Pokemon who have close contact with Humans, or are from an ancient human culture can speak or use telepathy, like Reshiram and Zekrom. Arceus is god so, of course he speaks english. Manaphy from the movie is a good example of a pokemon that can learn to speak if properly taught. I'm waiting for an episode with an old, grizzled, Blaziken/Aggron/Charizard/Something that lives in a cave alone like a Hermit that imparts helpful wisdom.
