ok, i stopped being an idiot and got thundurus down to one health with false swipe before it runs away. would quick balls be good or bad in this situation?
Clay's fucking Excadrill, its Defence/Special Defence stats must be freaking high, I nearly one shot every trainer in his gym with a level 29-30 Pansage, but up against his Excadrill, Pansage is useless, and so is my Pignite.

Super effective means an attack has dealed damage more than it does on the majority of cases. But the electric atack is enhanced by the water, so I guess it isn't, meaning whether something is sufer-effective or not would depend on the other's type.
So I guess saying thundershock was super-effective is wrong and should be replaced by thundershock was transformed int othunder, which did normal damage.
My team has a very bad weakness. Flying types. I haven't found a competent electric pokemon yet. Are there any near the second gym?

Lumdurr
Panpour evo 1
And those are the only ones that have a good enough level to do anything. Advice for new pokemon after the second gym, and how to train them?
im guessing lumdurr is a timburr, so just train that or get a throh to beat the normal gym.

Nah, I beat the normal gym.
All of my pokemon fainted, and timburr had about 6 hp left.
And I didn't know Roggenrola could stop flying, thanks.
