My current team in order of highest level:
Conkeldurr, Pignite, Sigilyph, Drilbur, Vanillite, and Pansage. I'm keep pansage simply for covering water types, which are super effective against two of my pokemon. It's pretty bad though, so is there another, better type around the 6th gym or earlier that may be of interest? I keep the current one just to get to 31, get Acrobatics, then use a leaf stone and evolve it. That's my plan, but this monkey is just SO WEAK. It's almost comic relief when he gets switched in and faints in one hit.

I never use legendaries EVER, especially in online battles. I do have a legit mew, but it just sits in my box. Maybe I will use it for this?

The attention to how dynamic the sound/music system is really great. I think each city/town has a version of it's song for the season. Go Ichinose and Junichi Masuda cranked out a huge amount of tunes for this generation.

Bibarel is probably the best, he can learn 5 of the 6 HMs in Gen 5 (everything but Fly).

To be honest I dont even understand the whole "Gen 1 was better than Gen 3" or bullshit like that. You wanna know what it is? Its dumbass kids who think everything is a competition and that something must always be better than something else. I like all the Gens, all the games and all the mons (cept Zubat).
Also when I asked for a good HM slave, I meant for White version.

Gen 4 will always be top on my list because it added my favorite pokemon.

Tirtouga can learn everything but Fly and Cut, then just use some flying pokemon to fill in for those and you're set.

Until the pokemon you used it on snaps out of confusion on it's first turn and you realize you just gave it a 2x attack boost. But yeah it's always gratifying to have your opponent faint because it hurt itself so badly during confusion.

I can't agree enough. I do in fact like generation 3 a bit more than the others, but that's just because it was my first gen. Generation 4 is as good as Generation 1 in my eyes.

All it is is that mind set of "This came first therefore its best" I see it all the time in Pokemon, Machinima (Red vs Blue was first therefore the best, crap like that), cars, and tv shows. People make me sigh in disappointment.
I've liked all of the previous generations except for this one. Gen 5 is just horrible in my eyes. Sure, I'll still play it, but it doesn't have the same charm that the last games had. They should just make the remake of Sapphire/Ruby and then stop with the new pokemon.

I can't really explain the feeling. I still enjoy the game, but it isn't the same as the first four. The pokemon feel recycled and unoriginal. The pattern that each game follows is becoming more obvious with every round, and I guess this one finally stopped feeling right to me. This is just my opinion.
