It's obviously a decision they thought hard about. I'd rather it be this way personally; I'm not getting a 3DS for a while and they probably get more games sales this way due to the compatibility. And more game sales = more people to play/trade with. The game looks great anyway, so I'm not to concerned about 3D.
Sorry, I'll post a little less often from this point, but what should I use my masterball on? I was handed it a few minutes ago and as soon as I departed for Victory Road I've found Thundurus only this time in battle, and if I don't use it on a roaming Pokemon, I'm not really sure what else

only if quick claw is in effect, so when it'd normally activate and make you go first it still does, other than that your speed is still reversed.
At least more people get to play it, since not everyone is getting a 3DS.

Then I went Psychic.
Psychic. Half HP. Leech Seed. Psychic. Smugleaf dead. Fuck this. Power button.

Wow, I swear alder was easier than the e4, I still had 3 left and I didn't have a poke over lvl 70. I revived after each e4 battle, cuz I would only have like 2 left

I bred mine specifically for Dragon Pulse. It's nature reduces attack and increases Special Attack. As of LV63, the two are just about even.

Ok, surely you can breed until you get a better nature then? Unless I'm missing something it seems like it'd be easier to hatch eggs to get a good nature than go through the hassle of getting the altaria etc.
My Sandile learned Earthquake, so I finally evolved it into Krokorok. He glitched and got Intimidate as his Ability instead of the Moxie he had. So I traded it to someone with a Flashcard to Pokésav him and get his ability back, I train him one more level, evolve him again... Intimidate again :suicide:
Well, at least I can still hack it back. And on a brighter note, my Adamant Archen is awesome with Acrobatics. I'm one-hitting nearly everything that isn't defence-based. Now, on towards the Elite 4.
I think he changes his Ability when he evolves into that form.

I've seen that happen when a Pokémon didn't have an ability his pre-evolved form did (like Shelgon into Salamence. But all of the Crocodiles know Moxie, and all know Intimidate. Wouldn't it make more sense that it stayed the same throughout the entire line?

That's the nature I wanted. I bred the original one I got from the fossil with ditto until I got a female, and then bred that with Altaria until I got the nature and EV/IVs I wanted.
The remaining ones (Minus the ones without Dragon Pulse) are what I'm trading to everyone.

I'm pretty sure that when a Pokemon evolves the ability randomises i.e. if it can either have Moxie or Intimidate it will roll on evolution for the ability, regardless of what it was before. Sucks but yeah, that's how it is.
DS/Lite has GBA slot, no WPA.
DSi has WPA, no GBA slot.
:sigh:
