Man, every time I ask for tips anywhere everyone just says the same thing, "farm for pokemon with good EV's and natures". Goddammit, I don't have that kind of dedication or interest in this game.
I play Pokemon to just have fun and raise a team I like. But it's sad that doing so completely blocks you from doing anything else online-related and are forced to grind forever just to make a decent team. Either you're a casual or a pro-player. There is no in-between in these games at all and it's frustrating.
I think I'm done with wi-fi battling for good. It's just not fun for me and it's forcing me to do something I'm not interested in.

I'm having trouble capturing Vinciti. Every time I get it very low on health, literally at the brink of death, i'll throw pokeballs at it, but it always breaks free. I've thrown at least 10 pokeballs, but it ALWAYS breaks free. Does anyone have any tips for capturing Vinciti?

It has a very low capture rate, equal to that of Kyurem and Landorus. You might need a lot of Pokeballs.
If you talk to Juniper after seeing 30 Pokemon, she'll give you the False Swipe TM, which is really useful for catching Pokemon.
Also, paralyze it (you can buy a Thunder Wave TM in the Nimbasa Pokemart) or put it to sleep.

Save before the battle then get it low and try to catch it
if it doesn't work just keep soft resetting until you catch it the first time so you don't have to waste all your pokeballs/money

[b]From looking at its stats, Elektross is too slow for a set like this. It either needs something to help with its speed or a way of taking some more hits. Its offenses aren't even that strong. Nice coverage though so might surprise some enemies I guess. Depending on its stats, you might want to try a mix of physical/special moves since its base stats are equal - you might score more damage in some cases that way. [/b]

[b] Meh. Avalanche isn't a bad choice as Feraligatr isn't that fast. Return (provided it's 100% friendly, which it should be) is almost as powerful as thrash, doesn't lock you into 1 move and won't leave you confused so is the better choice there. Swords Dance is decent - dunno how it'll manage to use it with its speed though.
Waterfall is a good choice for STAB obviously.[/b]

[b]If you have no item, acrobatics is great. 2-turn moves are a big no-no though - replace Dig with Earthquake.

Overall, your team doesn't really have much synergy - a lot of the move types are similar (note my suggestions for earthquake pretty much everywhere) and all your Pokemon are mainly physical attackers. You're really missing out on dedicated special attackers and more defensive Pokemon. Don't underestimate the power of moves like Toxic and Thunder Wave - put them on the right Pokemon with appropriate moves and they're devastating to an unprepared team. Having Pokemon that can take a hit or two is really important.
So yeah, some things to think about there. I'm by no means the best person to ask, but my suggestions should hopefully make sense.
