All you need to do is use the Mystery Gift Nintendo WFC Option and then go to that city with the boats to sail to liberty island.

I hate when people blatantly hack the game. I was battling one of my friends today. All of his Pokemon were shiny, had absurdly strong attacks, and always seemed to go first. He showed me his Kyogre afterward claiming it was legitimately captured and trained, but then I checked Serebii and its stats were all higher than possible for the species. Needless to say I lost :argh:

Went to some used video game store today, looking around through the "Undead systems" bin, basically a bin full of broken systems, everything from Gamecubes to Playstations, and their all 3.99 each.
I saw an original Gameboy, and said to my friend (yourgrandmother), you should buy this, and spend hundreds to get it in working order, when the chick running the store says "We've got a working one over here." so I checked it out.
7 dollars for it.
now I can play my Pokemon Yellow and Silver the way they were meant to be played.

I dont know, but they both work perfectly fine.
The only big cartridge games that didn't work on the original Gameboy were the ones that had a bump instead of the indentation above the title sticker. Cartridges with an indentation work on Gameboys, bumps need to be played on Color and above.
Yellow and Silver were indentations. Crystal was a bump
