No wonder why I thought Trisha, one of the NPC's you ride with on the ferris wheel was getting... close to me.
The Ferris wheel is where N is battled as part of the main storyline, and after defeating Elesa, Trainers may be battled there daily. The Trainer varies with the season and the gender of the player, and their name is related to the season. After the battle, the Trainer will accompany the player on the wheel. The conversations in the Ferris wheel are laced with double entendres.
it's fun beating the tar out of her Minccino though
It was almost criminal to flatten it though, used Heavy Slam with my Golurk.
Working on a new Archeops build. How does this sound to you guys?
Item: Flying Gem
Moveset:
-Substitute
-Hone Claws
-Acrobatics
-Stone Edge
Substitute helps the fact that he's squishy and lets me get in a Hone Claws, and then Flying Gem turns Acrobatics into a one-hit wonder.
Stone Edge is just magic by it's self. Great coverage.
Aw dammit, my moveset is practically similar to that, minus Substitute.
Anyways, apparently if I try to connect to the GTS on my 3DS it will wipe out my Pal Pad and start over. That's annoying. :C

It's honestly his only good moveset. Let me guess yours:
-Acrobatics
-Stone Edge
-Dragon Claw
-Hone Claws
Actually I have Dragon Claw replaced with Crunch, but close enough.
Actually I have Dragon Claw replaced with Crunch, but close enough.
You may want to undo that. Itemless Acrobatics does more raw damage than super-effective crunch. Dragon Claw offers better damage and type coverage.
U-Turn pisses me off.
Speaking of which, U-Turn is amazingly useful on Archeops. However, thanks to 1/4 Life, I'm thinking about if I should replace it with Substitute or not. Decisions, decisions. :S

Way I see it is, what good is an Archeops below half health? Why save it with U-Turn? Get one more hit in and let it faint. Substitute is the better move.
Salty, are you using a shiny mienshao?

Why use the flying gem, under it Acrobatic goes from 55 power to 82.5 but without it acrobatics is 110 Power anyway..?

Flying Gem is used (Removed) before the actual attack.
In other words, Acrobatics does 110 base power + 50% more damage for 165 power.
Couple that with Archeops' incredible attack, and you've got a one-hit KO move.

Interesting
then you've got STAB etc too
Need good way to farm xp for E4.
Ideas?

Jesus christ you're right. That's another 50% boost for 220 power.
Add it's 100% accuracy to that, and you're pulling some miracles.

Ran into Kyurem.
Quick Ball.
Kyurem's data was added to the Pokédex.
Salty, are you using a shiny mienshao?
He is.
pokemon tabletop time!
my friends got knocked unconscious and had their pokemon stolen, so i helped them break into the evil team's base, we got a few guard disguises and broke into a room full of pokemon where a gardevoir helped us free all the pokemon which ended up killing most of the members (whoops)
at the suggestion of the dm the gardevoir now travels with us and works as a portable move tutor
friends went to a lake to swimming and such, i found a big nugget on top of the relic crown i have, then kinglers get angry and chase us out
they're level 37, we're around level 7, one uses guillotine which is an instakill and has +15 to hit, targets my friend's new aron
aron saves with a natural 20, the kingler's claw breaks, bro gets a kingler who hates him
then i get a vespiquen
And then you all fucked
He is.
Haha, very nice, training my own non-shiny Mienfoo, jolly natured. Named her Chun Li.
And then you all fucked
only the dm and the gardevoir
he has a thing for them
Just one-hit KO'd an entire team consisting of:
-Garchomp
-Feraligatr
-Milotic
With Archeops' Acrobatics.
Naturally Garchomp was first in line and got an extra 'fuck you' from the Flying Gem, and then Feraligatr was incredibly slow, allowing me to throw out a substitute and get two Hone Claws in before I had to go on the offensive again.
I love this pokemon SO MUCH. City-Leveling Glass Cannon of the Pokemon universe.
Defeated in my first battle against a wild Pokemon
What is wrong with me?
You fail hard.
So I just bought a DSi(Black) and Pokemon(Black) yesterday. So far I have the first badge and I'm currently levelling my pokemon before I go into the hidden staircase at the museum for the second. My team is weak, mostly level 10s except for my Tepig which evolved at 17 and is now 18. I have a bad habbit of relying on one pokemon which explains the big level difference. However I discovered if you wait for shuffling grass a rare pokemon comes out and grants you HUGE XP. So that's basically my training method to catch everyone up.
I have Lillipup, Purrloin, Grass Monkey, Tepigs evolved form, Audino, and that ugly useless Patrat fucker. I hate Patrats. Stupid lookin things.
I have Lillipup, Purrloin, Grass Monkey, Tepigs evolved form, Audino, and that ugly useless Patrat fucker. I hate Patrats. Stupid lookin things.
Keep the Grass Monkey, it will be useful for Clay's gym.
I bought heart gold on a dutch ebay site, got delivered in a week. Turns out it's a fake one, my dsi can't read it, the guy who sold it won't respond. Guess who just threw away 22.50 euro. But the man aint bringing me down, I'm going to get black tomorrow and drown my sorrow in a new pokemon adventure :v:
