Hey guys, I'm playing through FireRed right now, and I just beat the Fushsia gym easily using my Nidoking (level 47). I have a good distribution of types of attack going, with my Nidoking (Lvl 47), Venusaur (Lvl 38), Growlithe (Lvl 18), Jolteon (Lvl 25), Dratini (Lvl 18), Pidgey (Lvl 27). In case you didn't notice, I JUST caught some of the pokemon, which is why they are unevolved. Should I swap any of the pokemom out for something else? My Nidoking is pretty flexible with moves, as is my Dratini.

Help? Any glaring vulnerabilities besides levels? When should I evolve my growlithe into an Arcanine?

If you wait 'till lvl 49 Growlithe will learn it's last useful special move (Flamewthrower) and I would assume immediately evolving it afterwards would make it learn Extremespeed at 49 too.
I'm playing FireRed for the weekend as far as Pokemon goes. I did get invited to beta of another game, so I won't be playing too much Pokemon anyway.
