palpitoad is annoying. it, along with quagsire, whiscash, and gastrodon are nothing more than inferior swamperts. some of them have a few small perks, but swampert is just drastically better

Smogon's having a VGC 2011 tournament on PO, its doubles, you register 6 pokes and use 4 in each battle. matches are best 2/3. gen 5 pokemon only, with unreleased dw abilities being banned. you have to register on smogon before april 10 if you want to do it

I thought Sheer Force disabled all non-hazardous secondary effects (so Flare Blitz's downside is not gone). I think U-Turn's switching out falls under this, but I'm not 10% sure, I never tried.
On a sidenote, Yanmega: Bug Buzz, Air Slash, Hypnosis and Psychic? Or swap Psychic for Shadow Ball?
