I hope that them placing a chunk of their profit into biometrics just to take a look at when players are suspenseful means that there will be a heavier focus on scariness
I have a feeling that it will have something to do with notch(the creator of minecraft) or minecraft. He said he is in Washington right now talking with valve. source: His twitter.
Valve will never make a console exclusive. Still Alive doesnt count.
Still Alive isn't exclusive to X360. It's the portal flash map pack, but for money.
Holy Crap I just remembered. Valve have been talking about a Half Life movie a lot quite recently!
Still Alive isn't exclusive to X360. It's the portal flash map pack, but for money.
That's umm.. really wrong, was that a joke?
Portal 2 for wii, l4d3 for wii and episode 3 delay date.
That´s WHAT I´m calling a surpise....a date when they finally (officialy) delay the game :v:
That's umm.. really wrong, was that a joke?
He means that none of the Still Alive content is console exclusive, all the of the content is available for the PC.
He means that none of the Still Alive content is console exclusive, all the of the content is available for the PC.
This mean speaks the truth.
That's umm.. really wrong, was that a joke?
lol no http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal_%28video_game%29
Portal: Still Alive Portal: Still Alive was announced as an exclusive Xbox Live Arcade game at the 2008 E3 convention, and was released on October 22, 2008.[54] It features the original game, 14 new challenges, and new achievements.[55] The additional content was based on levels from the map pack "Portal: The Flash Version" created by We Create Stuff and contains no additional story-related levels.[56] According to Valve spokesman Doug Lombardi, Microsoft had previously rejected Portal on the platform due to its large size.[57] Portal: Still Alive was well-received by reviewers.[58] 1UP's Andrew Hayward stated that, with the easier access and lower cost than paying for The Orange Box, Portal is now "stronger than ever".[59] IGN editor Cam Shea ranked it fifth on his top 10 list of Xbox Live Arcade games. He stated that it was debatable whether an owner of The Orange Box should purchase this, as its added levels do not add to the plot. However, he praised the quality of the new maps included in the game.[60]
I'm putting 10 bucks on they are going to announce all three in exactly 11 months and 30 days.
Valve have already done an MMO, it's called TF2 :) Achievements = Quests Apart from training (which is soon to be added), what's missing?
Woah WOah woah woaaaaah You spewed so much bullshit in a single sentence I can hardly believe you're serious.
"People will be chocked AGAIN" Everybody was chocked when they announced L4D2... I think it's obvious, my bet on L4D3.
What does chocked mean? Anyways, I'm guessing DOTA, EP3 and something else we have no idea about.
Holy Crap I just remembered. Valve have been talking about a Half Life movie a lot quite recently!
Now that would most definitely be a surprise.
Releasing the next meet-the video would be a surprise, we haven't had one for over a year now.
My guess[es] Awesome Portal 2 info Source engine improvements Ep3 and/or Half life 3 Counter Strike 2 (Low chance) Team fortress 3(low chance, might happen though) DotA Massive TF2 update Half life movie L4D3(thats actually a big improvement) Alien Swarm update/Alien Swarm 2
The 'Crossing' is The Sacrifice.

This is what I meant, yeah. :v: I also keep forgetting that it's coming close to the end of the year. In which case, "three big surprises within twelve months" is INCREDIBLY vague and I wish Valve wasn't such a hot tease.
...Twelve months means by September 2011.
That´s WHAT I´m calling a surpise....a date when they finally (officialy) delay the game :v:
Valve never announced a release date for Episode 3. Anyone who claims Valve keeps delaying it's a dumbass.
Holy Crap I just remembered. Valve have been talking about a Half Life movie a lot quite recently!
Episode 3 is going to be a movie. Heard it here first, folks.
Episode 3 is going to be a movie. Heard it here first, folks.
No. That would be a horrible move by VALVe.
What does chocked mean? Anyways, I'm guessing DOTA, EP3 and something else we have no idea about.
Sorry, shocked is writed "choqué" in France, I mixed the 2 words. :saddowns:
Aah, exciting news from valve! And it could be about half life! damn now I'm too excited to do something silly like respire
Dota, Telltale game, episode three delayed
Sorry, shocked is writed "choqué" in France, I mixed the 2 words. :saddowns:
Oh well, thats understandable.
I predict ep:3, half life movie, and hl3 Not sure about HL3 or the movie however, but the third one is more likely than the movie. Damn you automerge
1.Actual Game play of HL2:EP3 or HL3 2.Xbox 360 Team Fortress 2 Update With Steam Play Support 3.Steam On Console's
Big surprise: Valve releases on time. No, better, they're completely ready before the release date.
Woah WOah woah woaaaaah You spewed so much bullshit in a single sentence I can hardly believe you're serious.
Meh, I just noticed that I accidentally wrote "training" not "trading". I wasn't being serious. I can't believe some people's inability to understand simple humour. If this forum had an IQ test and only permitted people with an IQ higher than 5 to post then I think 98% of the members here would disappear. Including you.
it's going to be the steam client for Linux
http://kotaku.com/5624820/tf2-videos-are-valve-trying-to-explore-making-half+life-film Holy... Shit... This must be one of them I suppose it's going to be computer animated rather than live action
Episode Three wouldn't be a surprise, because everyone is waiting for it
Valve actually having news for Episode 3 is the surprise.
Counter strike on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii
If they did that, it would be like having a brick thrown at your face. OK, let's nail down the "obvious" surprises:

Valve's DoTA project
And now speculative surprises:

Valve's new IP
Half-Life 2: Episode Three - could be either: a release date, media releases (concept art, screenshots, videos) or simply saying "We're working on it."
A re-release of Team Fortress 2, with the target audience being those who play on the Xbox and PS3. It contains all content up to the Polycount Pack and the PS3 version has Steamworks support
The Left 4 Dead series on the PS3, with Steamworks support
Valve resolved their issue with Microsoft and can have Steamworks integrated with LIVE now
Gabe lost weight [editline]04:15PM[/editline] that's such a big surprise that it counts as three
