Below you or a few blockwalls away is probably a zombie. Like i said you can hear them fully aslong as they're within the range of spawning near you.

first, make sure your monitor IS POINTING TOWARDS YOUR FACE, and NOT ABOVE TO THE CEILING, and if it is correct BRIGHTEN the screen, with the screen's options.
