70% of the awesomeness comes from the higher resolution imo, no matter how epic the art is, it becomes shit if you keep it too low-res.
Found a giant cave system beneath the map that goes all the way down to lava and diamonds. I love when this happens.

I finally found some coal, and I was holed up in a fucking hole, with a torch, I put the torch out because it was becoming day time, but apparently it wasn't full day yet because a fucking creeper snuck up on me and one shot.

I wouldn't have put it out, but it was only temporary because I didn't have a house and I just felt like removing it because I wasn't going back there.
But now I've got a large amount of coal, and when it's day time I'm gonna go get some wood and build my house in a mountain.

Use the blocks in your inventory to put up stepping stones along the walls so you can get down, or use them to get back up. Mine around to get more stone.
