Well, I found diamond suspended over a large and deep pit of lava. The obvious choice would have been to make a path through the lava and mine up, but I did the stupid thing and mined into the wall, above the ceiling, into another cave, and dug back down over the diamond. Needless to say I was unable to pick it up before it fell down into the lava and lost like 5 diamond due to my own stupidity. :v:

Just found a nice 8 block vein of diamond. :moustache:

Since no one answered me, why is it when i try to do a cave only carto of my map in oblique. It crashes carto?

I just dug an honest-to-god foxhole. I was in the middle of no where when it turned night, and so I was like "Fuck this I don't wanna get killed by skeletons or creepers" so I just mined a hole, jumped in, and covered it with some gravel.

Nah man. If spiders target you at night and you wait it out until daytime, they'll jump you right after you get out. That's what happens to me at least.

I hope it's possible for Notch to fix the fire-resolution bug. It might not be without having to change around a lot of the code.

I hope notch adds all mobs to multiplayer, then it atleast becomes a challenge (when you can kill them, and when you can die)
